Harbour Hotel, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western Porth Veor Manor Hotel and Priory Lodge Hotel have received great reviews from travellers in Newquay regarding the views from their hotel rooms.
Newquay as changed in 30 years I was here with friends. But so have I too. I'm not into the young vibe no more. But 5he scenes have still wowed me, it's a beautiful place for all ages, this is where memories happen and taken away. Good look Newquay fro me. I loved the restaurant looking over the harbour, I'm sure it was a cafe back in the eightys. I eatin a different place daily. Its easy enough for all to get around everywhere. Except some of the beaches which are stairs only. The loud pups was my only thing I would avoid, but I do thatveverywhere I go, it's not personal.
Lovely coastal walk and beaches for the dogs and kids. Lovely town with great shops and plenty of opportunity to try a cream tea. Easy to walk around the area. Definitely walk the coastal path.
Staff were helpful and called me to advise car window was down which was really appreciated. The bathroom was clean but really dated. The majority of the property was dated and could really do with an update but this didn't really affect our holiday experience. The lift was out of order during our stay and had also been out of order before we got there I heard reception mentioned to another guest. Something needs doing with the lift as there are a lot of older people using this property and the lift being out of use would really impact their stay. The Seaview rooms give great views of Tolcarne beach and a short walk to Lusty Glaze Beach too. The hotel is good for people wanting access to the bars/restaurants ( Kahuna ) near Newquay train station was fantastic.
Newquay town itself is not great. Limited options for eating out in the evening. Not a pretty place. We stayed here because it was convenient to the airport and a good launching-off point for day trips across the rest of Cornwall.
Steakhouse on the corner opposite Londis was amazing steak and hospitality will definitely eat there again when I’m Newquay. Beaches are nice everywhere is fairly clean for a busy little town, nowhere else we ate was spectacular but nowhere was bad. Lots to do for all ages .
Newquay was lovely, we were luckily with weather so spent most of it by sea, on the beaches. The town itself is a little tacky but did have a few nice shops and food places. It’s only half an hour to Padstow which is really quaint. And Fowey is cute too, which is forty mins. I love Cornwall so never get tired driving around.
We were welcomed when we arrived and weren't expecting much because the price was so cheap compared to other options. We had a quad room with 4 single beds and the layout was great and the view was better. The hotel was so clean and the shower was great. Carpets were really clean. On top of that, we had breakfast in the morning and the bar of the evening was a great touch. You won't get a better location in Newquay. Everything you need is within walking distance but to be honest, you could do a week at Fistral beach alone. Great trip

Newquay
I really can't understand why Sarah has any negative reviews. After staying at a hotel by fistral beach we stayed here for our last night. The room at Sarahs place was lovely and we both wished we'd stayed there the whole time. It was much better value for money but still lovely Its five minutes up the road from a lovely beach and about ten minutes from the Newquay centre. She also does an amazing breakfast in the mornings, don't miss out on this little gem of a bnb
Newquay
Delighted. Even better than the photos. Spacious, easy parking, spotlessly clean, beautiful views, ligh, bright and airy. A fully functioning kitchen, nice lounge area with plenty of space. The location is brilliant, a very short walk into town and easy walk to All the local beaches. Hosts were great. Didn’t need to call on them but pre and post departure they were efficient and responsive. If you are going to stay in Newquay this is a great option
The hotel is just a short walk from the centre of Newquay and really comfortable for a value hotel. My room was light and airy and the bed was really comfortable with a small but functional en suite. Breakfast was really decent with juices, cereals and a full English cooked breakfast available despite all the precautions surrounding the spread of covid. Staff at the hotel were really friendly and I left feeling refreshed and relaxed.
The staff are wonderful and the hotel felt like our little haven after staying there for seven nights while walking the Southwest Coast Path. we very much enjoyed our breakfasts there and the breakfast staff were all great! the location ion is a bit out of the centre but most busses stop around the corner at the Barrowsfield Hotel, so it’s convenient if you’re walking the SWCP.
It’s set in a stunning location on the beach. Newquay itself is bit busy and full on but if you want a quiet hide away this is perfect. Rooms are beautifully decorated and the view from our balcony was breathtaking! I would definitely come back here again Amd book two night instead of one. Had an amazing sleep listening to the sound of the waves.
Newquay
View from the room was great, more than expected. The room was a good size and good to have a private bathroom also. Great location in the centre of Newquay and entertainment facilities were beyond expectation as well. If you want a cheap and reasonable place to stay, this is a good place to crash.
Newquay
The manager was very helpful on several occasions, including getting our laundry going and reworking our TV remote control. Other employees were helpful too. The location was perfect for exploring Newquay and beyond. The room had everything we needed. The parking was private and convenient.
Newquay
The house has everything you need; beds are comfortable, rooms are spacious and there are views galore. The pictures genuinely don’t do it justice. it’s perfectly placed in Newquay for beaches and the main town.
I got a room at the back of the hotel and hardly heard noise from the other guests. I slept well. Clean sheets and hot water. It was the cheapest hotel on offer on the seafront.
Newquay
Copper Beech is a lovely hotel, very clean and in a great location, only 5 min walk into Newquay town centre. The staff are very helpful and friendly.
