The location and friendly staff with facilities for dogs..towels and washing area was great. Access to garden from bedroom french doors. Easy access to the Haytor rock and moors. Good selection of drinks food was good. Plenty of parking

The Globe Inn is right in the centre of Chagford. The staff are very friendly, helpful and efficient. The food is excellent and so is the beer. The inn was very popular, so there was a good atmosphere, just like a good pub should be.

Our room was very pleasant and our two little dogs were well catered for, which was much appreciated. The dinner was good, staff very pleasant, charming & fun to talk to and we were able to talk with other guests at adjoining tables which was most enjoyable. We liked the ambience of the dining room, well laid out with smart linen table clothes but without being pretentious.

It was very basic. But you are not paying too dollar. It does what it says on the tin. Staff very nice. Breakfast was well worth the £10 per person. Fruit/yoghurt/cereal/full English snd. Unlimited tea/coffee. Bedroom clean and tidy. Bed comfortable.
