Very cheerful welcome, lovely lady behind the bar who was coping with a lot of orders and kept a smile going. Longish wait for supper which we knew was likely but the wait was so worthwhile as the food was delicious. M had the lamb rump and it was cooked to perfection.
Very clean rooms and comfortable beds, some.road noise but manageable. All in all a great one night stop over with amazing staff.

We were welcomed by the team, and nothing was too much trouble. Staff were all friendly and helpful.
The room was spacious, beautifully tidy, and well equipped.
Very comfortable beds, great parking. Lovely circulat walk from the pub and our evening meal was amazing.
Continental breakfast included in the price, which was very filling and great value for money. I will recommend it to others in the future.

Just down for a flying overnight stay to visit my sister in Basingstoke hospital . Who had to come down from Scotland for an operation. But dummer is a lovely little place and so close to Basingstoke that it suited my needs

Ateugglws to get a table in the restaurant. The food was good but we had to sit near an open door, which was draughty. The bathroom was a bit tired but adequate. The bed was rock hard. I was told the mattress was brand new. Not convinced. Still it was cheap, so you can't expect luxury. We didn't get a good night's sleep due to other patrons deciding to have a conversation outside our room at midnight, and then leaving in the early hours noisily. The restaurant offers a wide choice and the food was excellent both at breakfast and dinner. We were late for breakfast on our final morning, forgetting it ends at 9am during the week, but the restaurant manager was still able to provide a tasty continental selection.
