Victoria hotel, hotel in Northop

Situated in Holywell, 22 km from Bodelwyddan Castle, Victoria hotel features accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking and a terrace.

The host was friendly and helpful. The bedroom was more like a suite, plenty of room with a large bed, seating area, bathroom, small table and wardrobe. Breakfast help yourself- simple, included in very reasonable price. Heating on morning and evening which is rare for hotels these days so able to dry things easily. Next to bus stops and the high street shops yet quiet for sleeping.

The Mystical Orchard, hotel in Northop

Boasting accommodation with a terrace, The Mystical Orchard is situated in Holywell. Featuring mountain and garden views, this bed and breakfast also comes with free WiFi.

Paul was a great host, nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful garden surroundings. Catered for my dietary needs, buying gluten free bread, cake and porridge. We had two rooms available for just us. Bedroom with on suite bathroom and a separate lounge room. Everything we needed was in our lounge. Use of Netflix and wire fi. Water bed was great. Never slept in a water bed so was a bit of a laugh, till we got use to it. Plenty of pillows and towels available. Bath bombs available for the bath. Lovely thought. There was nothing we needed as Paul had thought of everything.

Situated 26 km from Chester Zoo, 34 km from Bodelwyddan Castle and 36 km from Pier Head, 13 St Mary's Mews offers accommodation set in Mold.

Loved the experience we had staying in this lovely apartment! First of all it was clean! The nice details such as treats for children on the table, and milk in the fridge for tea and coffee, did make a difference! And the owner definitely makes the experience nicer as he always was available and online to help with any questions.

Hafan Deg, hotel in Northop

Hafan Deg offers stylish bed and breakfast accommodation in the small North Wales village of Maeshafn.

Sandrine and Dominic were perfect hosts, friendly and ready to chat and inform when needed. Our hosts were generous in stocking the fridge with a mug of milk, bottles of orange juice and water, as well as fruit and a selection of mini jam bottles for the croissants and filter coffee for breakfast! The twin beds, at our request, were made up into a very comfortable and wide double/king size bed in which sleep was blissful. There were two armchairs at the foot of the bed for watching TV or reading. Hafan Deg is in a small hamlet, with The Miner's Arms (no food during our visit as a chef is being sought) a one minute walk away and two other lovely pubs a short drive away that serve food. The accommodation was composed of a spacious bedroom, another with 2 bunk beds and an adjoining small dining room. Outside the bedroom was an inviting garden and decking with table and chairs and constant birdsong. You may, also, find yourself sometimes alternating in feeling you are invited guests in either an English country house or a 'maison secondaire' somewhere deep in the Normandy countryside - the place can have that effect on one. If, like us, you have never heard of the Clwydian Range, then you, too, will discover it offers much for those seeking solace in an area of outstanding mountainous beauty as well as for seasoned hikers and cyclists. And then there are the not too distant towns with castles and beaches on the North Wales coastline... Hafan Deg was a most serendipitous find, indeed. Merci/Thank you, Sandrine and Dominic!

The staff were friendly and helpful.

The staff were friendly and helpful. We ate at Eastern Red, which was recommended by one of the staff ( my husband specifically wanted the best Chinese restaurant in the area). The bar, hallway and restaurant had such wonderful character. The staff were very attentive at breakfast. The room was very good. The hotel is a short drive to Liverpool city centre, Chester (Zoo and city) and also close to beaches on the Wirral peninsula and on the North Wales coastline.

Nice spot but noisy traffic off the A55. Didn't bother us too much but some people may not like it. Staff were really good and friendly and the breakfast was spot on. Would stay again if in the area. A choice of venue for food on site so good for families.

Room facilities ok. Took us nearly an hour of driving around finding the hotel on my sat nav from the given post code. Perhaps your web page could advise of this anomaly. Extra tired due to this extra drive.
