The actual hotel is lovely, I was in a terraced house, down the road, laughingly called an annex. Right next to the church bell tower which rings every 15 minutes...

The Staff were really lovely, one young lady, who cooked our breakfasts, was so kind, always obliging, a real star. The breakfast was plenty for us and a couple of evening meals were really tasty. The room was just big enough for the two of us, ample wardrobe, but do take extra hangers. Fresh bedding and clean floors. Our room looked over the main entrance to the Pub, so passing traffic wasn't an issue as the main entrance was at the side of the building. There was always a parking spot around the property. As for location, you had easy access to all directions, and if you wanted to take the Bus, this too was ideal, but be aware, the time tables were confusing and not accurate.

Arrived just before the restaurant closed. They let me order before I checked in and went to my room. Everything was ready when I returned to the dining room. Fish and Chips were very good.

Would highly recommend - very modern and airy - close to the Flamingo Land. Large spacious accommodation and if I am honest - best lodge we have ever stayed in.

Very clean. Quality kitchen appliances and pots and pans etc. Nice touch with having salt and pepper, pasta and sauce, tea coffee and sugar.
