Beautiful, airy rooms, fab attention to detail. All our needs were met. We had the most relaxing time with stunning scenery to wake up too. Staff went out of their way to make sure we had a memorable stay. Even putting up some birthday banners for my aunties birthday. Nice touch xx Big shout out to the chef too, fantastic food!!

We have family here - it’s a lovely little town on the River Test with lots of amenities and walks - a real community. Off the beaten track but nonetheless convenient for many things including Basingstoke and the Bombay Sapphire gin distillery nearby.

Nice place but don’t stay for business as you won’t get a cooked breakfast as they start at 08h00 weekdays, which gives you no time to eat and get to work Crazy that in this day and age they don’t cater for there main users which is business

Stayed at the white hart in Overton, as we were visiting the Bombay distillery, and it was close for a short bus ride, also the bus stop is right outside the white hart , which was excellent. Laura who was in charge was exceptional.

A lovely small town with nice walks, a few shops, pub, restaurants, church, and a very friendly feel. Surrounded by pretty countryside. We particularly liked the pond with swans and the community garden. It was a great stopping off point

Hotel chosen for its proximity to Bombay Sapphire in next village. Really warm and welcoming and staff were super friendly and efficient. We had breakfast and lunch at the hotel - both meals were excellent and very wholesome. The bedroom was larger than anticipated so I think we may have had an upgrade. Very clean everywhere and the bed was very comfy with lovely linen. My only criticism of the stay was that the bedroom was cold.
