Padstow was bustling and had a lovely holiday feel to it.
Padstow was bustling and had a lovely holiday feel to it. Very pricey and full of luxury shops and boutiques. Great array of restaurants and cafes to choose from. We really enjoyed pootling around it to be honest. It was low season so this might have helped.

Comfortable place. Plenty of shops and eateries.
Comfortable place. Plenty of shops and eateries. Atmospheric location with glorious beaches and countryside to explore. Sea air! As it was Christmas some places and shops closed on the day but we were told beforehand and made arrangements for ourselves. Padstow is a working fishing port in addition to a tourist hot spot. To be there when it was quiet nurtured the sense of times past before tourism sprang up.
Proper 'ansome place and the locals are brilliant as they should be living all year round in such an environment.

Padstow was fantastic.
Padstow was fantastic. Where I stayed was a total disappointment but actual Padstow was lovely. I’ve been many times and it’s a beautiful place. Extremely busy in the summer months, you can’t walk freely just constantly walking out of other peoples way and many dogs. The harbour is pretty, lots of lovely shops and places to eat. Always have to visit the Blue Wing gallery for some unique jewellery and to my favourite ice cream shop on the corner. Me and my husband adopted blue lobsters from the lobster hatchery a few years ago so that’s always a nice place to visit too and adopt some more. Parking however isn’t so fun, it’s a steep walk down from the car park or if you park in the streets. Would highly recommend a cycle or walk along the camel trail from Padstow to Wadebridge it’s beautiful!

We were lucky enough to be in Padstow in the day with the highest tide of the year (7mt) and unique weather conditions (5% of the year) - I loved the cosy atmosphere of the harbour area, the incredible fascinating tide cycle, changing the scenary of the Camel estuary from morning to evening. We enjoyed to walk through the South coastal path along the 7 bays/beaches trail for approax 19 km up and back. In the morning the tide was low, till afternoon and we could walk on the bed of the river, with this amazing sense of the nature power. The we walked on top of the clives, with incredible scenaries and got into the water of the Ocean , so transparent and clean. We also took a see wild boat trip to the ocean where we were apprached by dolphins in a calm flat ocean. Last but not least ... we cood find a seta at the Rick Stein restaurant for a marvellous seafood dinner. A memorable staying! I strongly recommend this place ... cannot just be sure of the weather thoug :-)

Lovely and lively town with great nearby beaches, lots of outdoor activities to offer (bike trails, boat tours, water sports, etc.). An absolute dog heaven! Great foodie experience if you love fish and seafood. Recommend Rick Stein's fish and chips restaurant and Deli, as well as Prawn on the Lawn (my personal favourite). We had an opportunity to dine at Paul Ainsworth's No. 6 and it was a fantastic experience with top professional staff and delicious food.
Parking can get tricky on sunny days and weekends!!

My second visit in a year.
My second visit in a year. The first was out of peak season and I loved the town. This one was mid-August and I would not visit again during the peak season. WAY too busy and with a different sort of visitor - I will say no more!
the view from our room was amazing. it was large and spacious. the bathroom was incredible - i think the floors were heated!! great tub and a tv was in just the right place to watch and take a soak. the restaurant was first class. the best part I loved was the people. i felt like I was a friend passing through. they were so kind and really wanted to get to know me and stay a bit longer to have a drink in the pub to chat. it was a great experience to be there.
Absolutely gorgeous property. Large bedrooms with comfy lounge and big kitchen. Walking around the farm, the renovations are noticeably well done! Location is close to Padstow, with easy access to Truro, Port Isaac, St Ives, coastal routes for the beaches (Trevone), and many other villages. Owners were very helpful and accommodating! We enjoyed being there and are already planning to return.
Beautiful room. Excellent staff who organised early access to room which we much appreciated as it was just a one night stay. Tasty breakfast with loads of choice. Appreciate the free parking. We are looking to book a coupe of nights at the Harbour hotel St Mawes at the end of our holiday in September as we enjoyed this hotel so much.
Location was perfect right in the centre of Padstow. Just literally a few minutes walk to the harbour, Paul Ainsworth at no 6, PTOL and Rick Stein. Also next door to lovely pub.Exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. All comforts catered for. The integral garage was very welcome too.
The rooms were superb, very spacious, well equipped and comfortable and the view from the balcony was just jaw dropping! Amazing views looking out over Padstow harbour and across the water to Rock.
The staff were all very friendly, the range of beers and ciders was excellent and the food in the restaurant was very good.
The room was a nice size, bed comfortable and clean throughout. Plenty of sockets in the right places and a warm bathroom. The staff fulfilled our requests of more tea bags and glasses to be put in our room. The hotel/Inn was very near the shops and harbour. An excellent position, though no good if you want a view.
Everything was exceptional...spotlessly clean & the room was beautifully furnished & very comfortable. Parking was included & an easy 10 minute walk into the Padstow harbour. Yvonne was a wonderful host & spoilt her guests with a yummy cooked breakfast along with lots of other little home made treats.
The location was great just a gentle stroll and you are in the centre of Padstow. The hotel was exceptionally clean and Jane and Andy were outstanding hosts and very knowledgeable about the area. Andy’s bacon and egg roll was wonderful. I would definitely recommend this to family and friends.
Everything. James and Lisa are the perfect hosts at this beautiful B&B. The place is gorgeous, clean, well appointed and in an excellent location for Padstow harbour. The only thing I will say is that the walk back up from Padstow harbour would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues
No breakfast in the guest house however only two minutes walk away from Padstow Harbour and lots of restaurants and bakeries, beautiful setting and close to beaches,5 minute walk from the famous Rick Stein restaurant. Will be visiting again
Perfect location in the heart of Padstow. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere in the pub. Room was lovely and comfortable.
Tea and coffee making facilities available, very comfortable bed and plenty of room to make a home away from home.
Fabulous location right by the harbour in Padstow. The appartement has a table with high stools by a window overlooking the harbour and this is a great place to sit to have breakfast and watch the world go by!
Great location, good size property, dog friendly, easy parking, quite and private. Love the garden and access in and out of the front and back of the property. Good size bedrooms and plenty of storage space
Great location, very well appointed, welll equipped and comfortable apartment. Light and spacious, calm and relaxing. Good internet connection and good information provided before and after our stay.
Location location location. Right on the harbour and really closure to local bars and restaurants. Perfectly situated. Rick Steins restaurant 2 minutes walk. Hotel was clean and staff very friendly.
Mark was a fantastic host, it was by far the best place we had stayed in Padstow (we are regular visitors).
The bed was so comfortable and the shower and toiletries again were outstanding.
The property has an excellent location not far from Padstow, Newquay and other areas of interest. The views were fantastic, we asked for a Sea Room View Room and we were not let down.
