Warm, inviting and very welcoming. Very quirky oldie, worldie atmosphere. We had an overnight stay/stop off between our travelling destinations.
Evening meal - varied choices and breakfast was excellent. Room was well supplied with tea/coffee and goodies. Beds very comfortable. Bathroom/shower room small and compact but very good use of the limited space. Secure car parking facilities and lots of outdoor eating/drinking garden facilities.
Value for money and would stay again.

Rural and rough. Get away from the city, people and tech, then this is the place for you. I loved it. Got a bit cold at night so bring a blanket. Bed is raised (medium firmness but comfortable), so there is an area under the bed for your dog to sleep (bring their bed). The little wood burner gave out loads of heat, I say have it ready to be lit for first thing in the morning. The place is great for a younger couple with a small dog looking to get away from the world for a couple of days to enjoy each other company :)
