The staff were excellent couldnt be more helpful and accommodating even dropped us off into Dumfries. The food was amazing best steak I've ever had and the white chocolate and praline dessert was sensational.

The staff were absolutely outstanding nothing was a bother to them they work very hard for all the staff that they have.
No one could fault them at all.
The lounge is very comfy along with the dining areas.
Bedrooms are very large along with a massive bathroom.
Had breakfast and dinner both days and nights the food is excellent and you will need to do some research to find better food anywhere in Dumfries. ( Compliments to the chef with everything that was ordered ) 5*

A lovely little village, close to good road links to get around the areas. We visited different places around the local area. Our favourite was Raiders Road forest drive through Galloway forest, it was just £3 to drive though and we saw deer and red kites along with other wildlife. We went to a lovely Italian restaurant in the next village on Saturday and enjoyed an authentic pizza. It's a lovely of the world with lots to see and do, especially if you enjoy the great outdoors.
