The Union Hotel is in the centre of Penzance. A 5-minute walk from the sea, the 17th-century building houses Hamilton’s Restaurant and also Nelson’s Bar, where there is free WiFi. We can't praise the staff enough. I have visited The Union twice in the last couple of months with my family and both times we have received a warm and friendly welcome. We love the dated old world decor and think you should never change it!

The Beach Club, Hotel Penzance and Artist Residence Cornwall have received great reviews from travellers in Penzance regarding the views from their hotel rooms.
It has St Michael's Mount, which is very popular, several eateries in the town (including a Wetherspoon) and a nice beach when the tide is out. The Scillonian ferry terminal is here, which you can book to go to St. Marys' island.
The town was lovely although a bit run down. The surrounding area was wonderful with many beautiful places to visit. Sometimes Cornwall doesn't seem to try hard enough to accommodate its visitors
Penzance is a lovely seaside town with many worthwhile attractions. It also has many wonderful plants and flowers unique to the region. Penzance is also a great place from which to visit other nearby areas such as Lands End, St. Ives, Mousehole and St. Michael’s Mount. I’ve been to Penzance several times in the past and i’ll probably visit again in the future.
Penzance is a small but interesting town. The surrounding area is however fascinating, lovely coves and beaches, wild moorland, mining history and some quaint villages. We didn't visit on this occasion but the Minack Theatre is wonderful. There are some really good eating places. We had delightful meals at both the Old Lifeboat Station in Penzance (opposite the harbour and near the dry dock) and the Old Coastguard Inn approaching Mousehole. Neither were cheap but the food at both was excellent, great ambience, too, and friendly staff. We were disappointed though with a meal at the Godolphin Arms (opposite St Michael's Mount); great views but a disappointing meal (and it was not cheap).
On our way to St Ives this stop was perfect, because the hotels in St Ives are much more expensive and it is not far to visit from Penzance. Also the isle of St. Michel is not very far from Penzance and very recomended to visit.
The main cornish town to get to Mousehole, Land's End, Sennen Cove, Porthcurno. St. Just, St. Ives, Marazion and St. Michael's Mount, and lots of other places. The Morrab Gardens in Penzance is worth visiting, the town also has a ferry terminal for The Isles of Scilly which can also be reached from the nearby Heliport.
Penzance
Must say that the hotel location was convenient. It was a 15 -20 mins walk to Penzance station and 5 mins to the promenade. Liz was very sweet and had offered us rooms as soon as they were ready even before the checkin time. She also did accommodate our request to store the birthday cake and allow us to use the breakfast room for the birthday cake cutting :) She was kind enough to guideand explain us about all the nearby options to eat and for places to visit Breakfast was good and filling Overall lovely stay for the price paid !!!

Staff were exceptionally helpful via email (the accommodation itself is essentially automatic) and went beyond expectations to help with two items of post - even sending the second on to our home address. The rooms were both very clean, quiet and dark at night - everything we needed for a great sleep before an early start to take the boat to Scilly the next morning. Would thoroughly recommend, particularly if like us you are looking for simple solution in Penzance before leaving to/after arriving from Scilly. Thanks very much!

Great place to stay in Penzance with the perfect hosts who were obliging and friendly and made us feel most welcome during our stay here. The hotel is a short walk from the town centre where there are many nice restaurants, cafes and shops. Also a great base for exploring the local area too with so much to do nearby. The food was excellent, the rooms clean and comfortable and all appropriate COVID precautions had been implemented to make you feel safe. We will definitely be returning and recommending to friends and family also.
A hidden gem. Lovely little hotel, friendly staff, well served by buses to Penzance, Marazion, St Ives, Hayle, Land’s End et cetera. Right by the beach, and a beautiful walk along the coast path to Penzance or Marazion. Breakfast delicious and plentiful. Room facilities including toiletries, tea and coffee and towels plentiful. Good food in the bar in the evenings.

The decor of the property, in the lounge, bedroom and staircases was just beautiful. A lot of thought has gone into it for sure. Also the service was amazing in terms of checkin process and receiving new/clean teabags and towels etc. This was our first hotel stay in Penzance and we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else now that we've been here.
Penzance
Very cosy house. The owner thought of everything, the house has all you need for the holiday with family or friends, plus it’s pet friendly. This was our third time in Penzance, but first tending a cottage instead of hotel, and we will stick with cottage offers from now on :). Strongly recommend!
Penzance
Situated in a beautiful location over looking the sea. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. Provided with a smashing 3 day breakfast Better than a 5 star hotel. We cannot praise this apartment enough had every thing we could possible desire. Thank you.
Mousehole
Wonderful staff, amazing view and completely new renovated rooms. The Ship Inn and the town are both absolutely lovely places to stay - and less hectic than the main "downtown" part of Penzance. Highly recommend this Inn.
Due to renovations at Beachfield Hotel we were moved to Hotel Penzance. Friendly helpful staff. Very comfortable beds and rooms. Beautiful lobby. Excellent food in on-site restaurant. Location great for walking around town.
Penzance
The best breakfasts I have ever had with plenty of choice as well. Location was fantastic, just a short walk to the seafront and the town but still easy to drive out of Penzance in a car. Richard and Sarah were great hosts.
Really great restaurant, chef knows what he/she is doing! We were there for ferry to Isles of Scilly, but location is a good 25 minute walk. However hotel staff very helpful and found us a taxi ride.
Penzance
The location is very good. It is between Newlyn village and Penzance city center. The staff also is so nice. He gave us a lot of very good suggestions for our trip.
We stayed at the Queen's Hotel in Penzance during a cycle tour. Good choice ! Safe place for bike indoors, nice rooms, good breakfast, and lovely views.
Penzance
Well located for Penzance beach and town, the room was verry clean, good sized TV, having a fridge on room was great, excellent value for money
Penzance
Close to the station, ideal hotel to catch the ferry to the Scilly Isles or to explore Penzance, staff very helpful, huge portions of food.
I liked being able to have dinner at the hotel and ordering a couple of meals to go.
