Absolutely everything.
From the welcome by the lovely Sue, the serene views you can enjoy from the brilliant hot tub, the homely and comfortable pod and everything else in between. My wife and I can't wait to return.

Always an amazing stay at yurtopia! It's the perfect location a truly hidden gem in the middle of a forest with 2 lakes and woodland to explore, so peaceful and quiet its perfect for nature lovers with all the wildlife about, all the cooking utensils provided, plenty of blankets in the yurt to get cozy, the shower is lovely and hot and my favourite is sitting next to the fire whilst stargazing! raven is the perfect spot for that! Small village nestled in a valley. Bus stop on main road.
Small village nestled in a valley. Bus stop on main road. Cambrian Way passes through village with access to the beautiful Pumlumon Fach and Fawr with some great views towards Nant y Moch reservoir and beyond in a clear day.
A 5km walk away via Banc Creignant Mawr woods is the Nant y Arian visitor centre and feeding site for Red Kites well worth a visit (2pm winter, 3pm summer feeding times). Local pub The George Barrow does very good meals and is run by lovely and friendly people.
The Devil's Bridge is approximately 10km hike over Cambrian Way or a short drive away.

11 miles from Aberystwyth which is pretty well a straight run so staying here was an excellent base. we priced up hotels in Aberystwyth and not only were they more expensive but the reviews were quite poor. very happy that we stayed in Ponterwyd.
The hotel is located in a great place and near to a wonderful waterfall. It was a pure pleasure to have a nice view and hear the birds singing and water rushing every morning. The room was spacious enough for a couple, clean, ensuring a comfortable stay. The staff at the hotel are incredibly welcoming and go out of their way to make sure guests have everything they need. Dining at the hotel is an experience in itself, with a variety of delicious, well-prepared dishes.
We enjoyed a couple of drinks at the hotel bar once we checked in. Nice to chat with the owner at the bar and find out a little about life in mid-Wales. Lovely breakfast in the morning and we enjoyed the mountain view from the room
Hotel was really nice, the family who own it are lovely people who were very welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. The food here is exceptional, great portion sizes and oh so tasty! Would highly recommend, we will be back.
The room was clean, good views, staff were friendly and polite. We ate at the hotel in the evening, the food was lovely and well priced. We were also able to store our motorbikes in the garage next to the hotel.
The Owners were very friendly and helpful and the Hotel was "safe" and spotless. Both the evening meal and the breakfast next morning were excellent. I would certainly return,
