The 4-star Dakota Edinburgh is a modern hotel with an award-winning restaurant and free Wi-Fi. Room was very clean, bed comfortable, lovely powerful and spacious shower. We had dinner in the restaurant which was lovely and the staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Overlooking the Firth of Forth railway bridge, Innkeeper's Lodge Edinburgh, South Queensferry, is just 20 minutes’ drive from the historical city centre of Edinburgh. We stayed there for one night. The Inn is lovely. It is in a very convenient location if you need to return your car at the airport the following day. The room was very comfortable as well as the bathroom. To our surprise South Queensferry is really nice. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was very good. The breakfast is also very complete and good.

I like the place in a small town near the ocean, far from highways and noisy trains. Angela is the owner and the pearl of the small hotel, you will get any help. Room was beautiful and bathroom new and clean ! Breakfast was very good and fulfilled my wishes. In the near a lot of restaurants near the ocean and the train station from Dalmeny to Edinburgh is not too far. Absolutely happy with my stay.

The room was ok but thought as it was our golden wedding anniversary we would have something nicer than looking into a building site ,been to other hotels for birthdays etc and received complimentary drink and lovely views
Lovely and relaxed atmosphere, friendly people. The place has lovely walks , there was a big Tesco nearby to get snacks and stuff. There was also a big shopping mall not too far from the hotel. Very scenic and beautiful in the suburbs with beautiful gardens.
Lovely place fabulous views but weather terrible ended up driving most day and say hotel bar at nite glad im home we had breakfast on orreco pier which was lovely dinner in railbridge bistro was so good stsff were excellent
Queensferry is a really quaint place. Lots of local shops and great places to eat. Lots of walks and uphill climbs. The boat is worth doing. Also a burger at down the hatch. Bus service is reliable and frequent - easy access in to Edinburgh
Queensferry was fine. Just the right amount of time there. Any longer and you'd be bored. Local transport very good. Heart of Edinburgh City 20 minutes by bus. Which also left every 20minutes.
Loved the views,cobbled streets and plenty of eating places from small cafes and chip shops to big restuaraunts.Port Edgar marina seems to be developing well with various units running and a smashing restaurant in Scott’s.
