The location is so near the motorway, shopping centre, Paisley town centre. Paisley cathedral is very nice, also they have a very old museum with a tea room with staff dressed in old fashioned clothing. We had a meal in The Glynhill hotel, excellent, then visited a really old bar called The Bull, with authentic olde world charm, it’s across the road from 1930’s fish & chip shop that is owned by Paulo Nuttini’s parents. We also had a meal in Pendulum, opposite the abbey, very nice food.

Nice small town but with limited amount of shops except fast food ones of which there is plenty. town is handy for visiting Braehead shopping center and the city of Glasgow. very handy for Glasgow airport and would be perfect for an overnight pre flight stay.

Lovely room, comfortable bed and facilities in room just right. Breakfast was extremely varied and have to say thoroughly good, great hot buffet, love the bags that keep your toast warm and great assortment of pastries, cereals and fresh fruit. Very helpful staff, and the evening meals were good also. Would have perhaps liked a bit more varied evening menu but can't complain at what we had. Looking forward to our next visit later this year.

Renfrew was only a base for our stay in Scotland didn’t spend much time there. Good location with places like Dumbarton, Luss and Loch Lomond a short drive away. Very close to the airport but not too close for it to bother you.

The people are so darn friendly. We get ourselves checked in and some young lad insists on carrying our bags upstairs. We checked in on a Friday evening, which also happened to be karaoke night. Of course we did karaoke. Their food is delicious! We dined here two times. I feel we got good value for what we spent. We visited Glasgow for the World Pipe Band Championships. We cabbed to and from Glasgow Green with no issue.

we didn't have breakfast as I felt the cost was too high on top of the room. Our room was lovely and the household staff were so helpful. The radiator was broke in our room but an extra blanket was provided on request as it was cold. . No water in the room even one bottle on arrival would have been really appreciated. Overall I would stay again espcially in the area of the hotel that we had our room. many thanks

A good spot for a short trip to Glasgow. I flew in late and was leaving relatively early the next day and this place had a lot more character than the airport hotel. Room was very good, with a water view, good size, generous inclusions in room and close to one of the better Indian restaurants, the Times of Punjab.

I could have done with a walk in shower as I had to step into the bath to access the shower which was difficult as I have mobility issues. I believe I did message the hotel about the showering facilities for the room so it was disappointing to have to shower standing in the bath which was difficult.

We stayed overnight ready for an early flight, the hotel is convenienty a few minutes taxi drive from the airport. Staff very helpful, beds super comfy, spa handy...it might have a few tired decor areas in particular the spa area but for the price it's still very good value

The glynhill is definitely not a four star hotel now. The decor is tired , and the cleanliness is average. Some staff were lovely, some looked bored. The food was fair but reasonably priced..
