This is a lovely 5* hotel in the centre of beautiful Chester. We try and visit once a year and this time it was for just one night. The service is top notch. We walked from the car park and our bags were whisked away while we checked in and soon appeared in our room. The room itself was a good size as was the bathroom. There are nice touches like hand (home) made shortbread on the tea tray and fresh milk in the mini bar. The Continental breakfast is good quality if a little limited but you can purchase a cooked option from the menu if that is your preference. We will be back again soon!

the room was easy to find, the on-suite bathroom shower was easy to use, had spare pillows, a fan if needed and spare blanket in the cuboard, also came with a lovely cooked breakfast and they could add more stuff to the "tea and coffee" tray in the room if you asked at reception. also center of town was a 10min walk or they had a bus stop not to far from the hotel.
With a garden that leads onto a lovely canalside footpath, The Cheshire Cat by Innkeeper's Collection offers free private parking.

We stayed for one night after a shopping trip to Cheshire Oaks. For the price we paid, the whole stay was excellent. We had a nice meal in the restaurant that evening and breakfast was good (not a buffet, you order off a menu).
A bonus was finding that it was right on the Shropshire Union Canal so we could have a lovely walk before breakfast.
