Set in a traditional house dating from 1900, The Gannet Inn is located in Carbis Bay, just an 8-minute walk from a sandy beach. It features a bar with a games room and Sky Sports channels.

Perfect choice of breakfast and evening meal. All staff gave very friendly, calm service, and sought to meet our need for less stairs: gave us room on the lower floor when it became available - to cater for my partner's arthritic hip. Enjoyed the view of the sea, Very roomy, extremely comfortable bed, with lots of pillows and cushions, No hassle to leave by 10 am! Many thanks for three very comfortable nights

What a picturesque town with outstanding natural beauty and so much to see in the way of art and ceramics. It does get very crowded during holiday times so I would recommend going out of season. Highlights include the Tate St Ives, the Barbara Hepworth Studio, the various galleries and the beaches. The walking could be difficult for anyone with limited mobility but there are ways around that in terms of getting transport. A really stunning spot. Plenty of excellent places to eat from beach cafes to independent bakeries and coffee shops to fish restaurants. It seemed that everywhere was very dog friendly too and many visitors were there with their dogs.

We stayed at the end of the Easter holidays. Fabulous town that can get very busy. Everywhere is a short walk and what incredible beaches and sea views. Would recommend the surf school on Porthmeor beach. Friendly Bunch.

I’ve been coming to St Ives for 50 years so I’m slightly biased but it is a beautiful place with 5 beaches. Numerous good places to eat. Lovely little shops with different crafty bits in. Mostly flat when you are in the town area. Good location for exploring more of Cornwall if needed but plenty to see and do in St Ives.

I visited on the New Year holiday which was marvelous except for the weather. A force 8 gale with 15ft seas was recorded. Nevertheless a good time was had. The whole town went bat sh*t bonkers on New Years Eve by dressing up outrageously. The whole event concluded with a magnificent firework display. Visitors lodged in the Old Town need to be nimble as do those going to No 85, which has narrow and awkward stair access to bedrooms. Frail or people with compromised walking really ought to swerve this St Ives. The streets are steep, one car wide (although two way) and very narrow. Try “One Fish Street” for a delicious, although expensive dinner. I’m a chef and I ‘rate’ this restaurant.

St Ives is just lovely, one of my favourite places in the UK. Very friendly with plenty of shops and places to eat. Beaches superb. Are at The Captains Table, part of The Sloop Onn and I must say the food was delicious and the service impeccable!

Spotlessly clean, very spacious in room 2, breakfast was tasty and great quality plus had choice, strong coffee, stylish homely decor not clinical like hotels. Leigh and Tracey were welcoming and friendly. Made accommodations for van parking. Thoughtful additions like bottles of water provided alongside usual coffee, tea and biscuits. Room 2 has a stunning view of the sea with huge bay windows. That room includes a large wardrobe, dressing table and armchairs by the windows and a very comfy bed.

This is a beautiful location. The hotel has a lovely view out over the bay. We had a great sea view room which was fantastic. Room is kept clean. There was complimentary gin in the room which is a nice touch. Bar is excellent, staff very helpful and the food in the restaurant is good. Breakfast is very good and nice to have it with a sea view. I would definitely return here or to other Harbour hotels. You can walk down to the beach which has excellent facilities. St. Ives is a lovely place.

My mum & I had the best 4 nights at Pedn Olva! The location is absolutely perfect, the hotel has the most amazing views from all angles and is well positioned between the town and all the beaches so you'll never have to walk too far. The pool and sunlounger area is great - there is also a lovely terrace with plenty of space - we felt like we were abroad! Our bed was one of the comfiest I've ever slept in and the breakfasts we had every morning were delicious. We would definitely return!!

Everything at Primrose House was exceptional, from the warm welcome, the beautiful room with a separate seating area & outside decked area to the fantastic breakfast. Location was amazing, a minute walk to Porthminster beach & a 10 minute flat stroll into St. Ives town. Didn’t want to leave as everything was of such a high standard, we’ll be back soon & will be bringing our extended family with us...it was a pleasure to stay at your boutique hotel x

The place is not a hotel as it is mentioned. It is more of a Bed and Breakfast place. The landlord is really super friendly and accommodated us very well. She is very helpful to understand our needs for the breakfast. The breakfast is very good and homemade. She is able to accommodate us even when we checked-in late in the night. The location of the house is another plus, if you are ok with visiting the nearby shops by walking.

Absolutely beautiful setting. Stunning views from everywhere . Our room was a deluxe room but had a beautiful terrace with sea views. Ate at the beach club which was delicious. The spa facilities were out of this world with breath taking views. All round an amazing hotel and would recommend to anyone . Ladies on the front desk do a fab job and really lovely and chatty which is what you want when arriving and leaving the hotel.

A beautiful studio apartment. We loved our stay here. We enjoyed the walks down to St Ives. We found the apartment to be spacious and the beds were comfortable. The owner has thought of everything. The apartment is well equipped with all we needed for our stay. The location is quiet. We loved the extra things such as our welcome basket with scones. Overall a lovely stay in Saint Ives. Thank you. :)

Our stay at Headland House was lovely. The accommodations were so unique and unlike and hotels we have stayed at before. It really added to the charm of St. Ives and as first time visitors we will be sure to make our way back. Mark and Fanella were lovely hosts and did so much to make our stay as comfortable as possible
