Al and Phyl were amazing hosts! They were so helpful with everything and making sure that our stay was as comfortable as can be. Everything in the room was perfect and cosy. The property is also only a short drive away from the Deal town centre or Dover. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone who wants to visit the east coast of the UK!

great location for a weekend break away from kids/job/...
great location for a weekend break away from kids/job/routine and time to take stock of life. We;d hoped to enjoy visiting the local beach and do some coastal walks ........ but the persistent horizontal rain put paid to that so fortunately we'd brought some sporty gear so could make good use of the gym. The property charges £10 for being shown the equipment in the gym ( compulsory ) which i did think a little cheeky but if it prevents time-wasting and meaning the gym is only being frequented by people actually wanting to use it then maybe its a good thing

Booked a room at the hotel , went to check in to find out we were double booked and no room at Hotel. was put in a caravan, a dirty caravan with so many spiders on the ceiling. Staff weren't helpful or apologetic at all. Facilities weren't nice restaurant had stains all over carpet. Not a good place to keep kids entertained. Really needs some money put into site.

We had to charge room in the middle of the night as there was a baby crying for 2 hours. I called the security manager (John) and he assisted us. He checked to see if there was any rooms available. We changed room and the service was amazing. I checked out late too.

The site is nice and the hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. The on site restaurant is ok although choice is limited for main meals. The first day no breakfast was available as the chef was sick. So we had to drive into Dover. It mucked up our schedule a bit but not the end of the world. Great location for exploring. The South Forland lighthouse is worth a visit. A little trek to get there from the road, but worth it. The main promenade of Dover is ok and also the same with Folkstone. Visit Samphire Hoe just between Dover and Folkstone. Beautiful scenery, the pebbly beech and the amazing cliffs right in front of you.

The hotel is a part of a larger camping area with mobilhomes around. Surroundings are fine but nothing really special for a camping of this sort. Nice calm place in a village. The room was decent, of a decent size and clean, nothing bad to say. The restaurant serves decent English breakfast with variations and option at a reasonable price. The bar is a typical village pub with locals watching footbal at the evening.
Reasonable room and strong hot shower in room. The resort's nice pool, sauna and jacuzzi weren't too busy at our visit and free to use for Hotel guests. Prompt helpful service from security when we misplaced keycard. The classic Dover Cliffs walk is easily reachable (10 mins on foot to the quieter lighthouse end) from the resort i.e. no need to use the National Trust car park and its ripoff fees.
The hotel was lovely and the facilities were great for price , the only fault was I had two bad nights sleep as a rumbling kept waking me up and only stopped when I went and turned hot tap on , I spoke to reception after first night , they said they could not find what was causing it , but happened the second night to , all I can think is we were next to boiler room .
Most of the staff at the hotel were very friendly- reception in the evening and in the morning were friendly and the morning reception person was full of useful advice and helped us when we had no breakfast by telling us where to get some, and at the swimming pool the staff was lovely. The swimming pool was open in the morning which was great.
Nice hotel, quiet and small. Staff friendly at reception, restaurant and bar too. Show was a bonus to see, could not watch all as up early for ferry. Food and drink choice was fab. Bed big and comfy, nice place for an overnight stay. We did not use the facilities but there is a pool on site. 😁
Staff were friendly.
Hotel block is within a nice holiday park which had a restaurant, snack bar, a gym, pool, a shop and entertainment( I didnt use any of them but it was nice to see them available).
Room was standard a good size for one, good size TV.
The location was surrounded by beautiful countryside and a 20 minute, scenic walk to the beach. The hotel was close to all on site facilities and the staff were all very friendly and extremely helpful. It was very quiet and peaceful.
