I had a family room and it was spacious and beds comfortable. The bathroom large enough for a family. It is also in a very good location easy to get too whether North or South terminal. Trains easily accessible and can quickly get into London.

The rooms were not ready at check-in time. I sat waiting for quite a long time as I had wished to change and freshen up before going to my daughters house for an Easter day meal. The staff showed no interest in me sitting there whatsoever and I left my bag with them and Went to my daughters without having checked in. When I returned late in the evening, my bag was not able to be located and it took a further 10 or 15 minutes before anybody could find it. Only recently became a solo traveller in situations like this and I must say this hotel made me feel completely unimportant and invisible. It was absolute rubbish to be honest with you. What could be more normal than a dad turning up to check into a hotel before going off to his daughters on Easter Sunday? I guess that’s the sort of thing a hotel is there for, but not with this particular hotel. I was very, very disappointed.

It was in a quiet location. The ensuite had a proper shower and was of good quality. The staff were lovely and kind. We could leave our car there while we flew to Europe for a small fee every day and it was kept behind a locked gate. There was a restaurant there we could get dinner so we didn’t have to actually drive to get food.
