Absolutely amazing beach, didn’t feel too crowded even on Saturday. Fantastic eateries and independent shops. I was lucky enough to be there when the local market was on and a record sale at the local community centre.
I visited the Seaview and was not disappointed.
Unfortunately the cable car was not running which was disappointing.
Looked like there were lots of places to park and I noticed loads of benches everywhere to perch on.
Pier awesome.

An excellent beach with lots of sand and a pier.
An excellent beach with lots of sand and a pier. The funicular railway from the beach to the top was not working owing to a fire. There are good walks from the sea up the valley which is served by a miniature railway from Easter.

The Lodge was very Comfortable and Clean, kitchen fully Equipped, Beds very Comfortable. The only Disappointment is that the Wi-Fi was not working. The outside appearance of the lodge itself does not do it Justice.

I lived in this town for about two years and have friends and a relative there so I am not a typical tourist. However, it is a nice calm and pleasant place. There is a large modern supermarket and also a very interesting antique shop. I recommend both of them. The view from the high point is stunning. The Spa Hotel and the Marine Pub are really good places to eat; the staff in each friendly and the atmosphere very welcoming. There is also another good restaurant, Alessi's, which is in the center of town. There is good bus and train service to Saltburn. This town is great for just a relaxing weekend rest.

A very spacious property with a very comfortable large bed. The heating worked well. Yes there is a sea view and the property is very well located. The TV was very good - great to be able to pause and record! The coffee machine is a Nespresso so coffee was good (new pods available at the Sainsbury's nearby). The Marine Hotel looks uninspiring from the outside but served excellent beer and food (although they were clearing away menus before 7pm so get in early).
Lovely apartment with a boutique hotel feel, comfortable beds and everything we needed for a great little seaside break. I loved watching the sea from the lounge windows.
The apartment is in a great location, a short walk from the top of the cliff railway and just a couple of minutes from a good selection of coffee shops and restaurants. It doesn't take long to walk down the hill to the beach, or you can take
the cliff railway down.
The furnishing of the hotel were lovely.
Most of the staff were friendly and helpful.
Easy assess to the lovely park in Saltburn-on-sea which led down to the great beach. Good snack bars and surf equipment school/shop along the front. Saltburn-on-sea is a lovely place to stay with friendly, helpful staff in the pubs and shops. Great meal and lovely pub: the Ship which also looks out at the sea.
Visiting from New Zealand we were impressed with the well preserved older buildings in the town. Location of hotel with lovely views over Saltburn coastline. Delicious meals either in restaurant or bar area. Ambience of the hotel and individuality of the rooms.
Closeness of the hotel to both beach and town centre. Everywhere very clean.
Friendly locals and hotel staff.
Lovely and spacious, clean, light and bright in lounge area due to 3 windows..open plan to kitchen which was nice. One of the 1st things you notice is how soft the carpet is!!Ideal location, short walk to beach.i could quite easily of stayed here much longer!I definitely recommend this apartment..lovely and quiet too .If you book here enjoy!😀🍦
The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed and it is spacious enough for two people. Loftus had all we needed right out of the front door - Co-op , pubs, takeaway etc and it is on a direct bus route to Whitby and Saltburn-By-The-Sea We had an excellent stay. Thank you.
The apartment was spotless and equipped with everything needed for a fantastic stay. The decor was amazing and very modern. The host Sara was a most gracious host with a very nice welcome gift. I have stayed many times in Saltburn at various different places Hotels and Apartments and this was by far the best place.
Lovely hotel with a wonderful restaurant doing special
Offers mid week. Our room was spacious and as described. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Restaurant definitely highlight of the stay with food being excellent ( very different from our morning experience).
We were only away for one night so made the best of it
Staff were friendly
The floor where the rooms were situated were more like a hotel
Hotel was situated where we could walk into the centre and down to the pier.
The room was fantastic. All members of staff were super helpful! Breakfast was fab, great choice and not just a standard fry up! We will definitely refer the hotel to our wedding guests who may need accommodation.
The restaurant has amazing views and their food was absolutley incredible; BEST Calamari I have ever eaten! The wait staff was a little slow, but it was quite a bust night and everyone was very friendly.
Friendly & helpful staff, very clean in all areas & room very comfortable. Great breakfast with good choice. Also had Sunday lunch which was very good. Excellent value for money.
The hotel looks newly renovated, spotlessly clean, and the staff is friendly and polite.
