Stunning house in a beautiful setting!! Grand and stately but cosy and comfortable at the same time! Lovely dining room and great big kitchen which worked perfectly for our activities - cooking lessons for a Italian feast! It was great!
I liked the historical and Architectural ambiance.
I liked the historical and Architectural ambiance. I liked the friendly staff. Excellent food and good choice at all meals.
If I could change anything it would be a walk in shower in my room and I would have also liked an arm chair. There was space for one.
Transport size there is an infrequent bus to take you in to Diss but in my humble opinion there is a lack of available taxi cabs to take you to the train Station. I did not ask reception as I have taxi numbers in my phone so may have missed out. I am sure they have the same problem finding a taxi though. Those of us living in places with a good transport system find this an issue.
Overall I liked Scope inn very much. I would recommend it to my friends especially those with a Car.

Lovely pub/ restaurant which has a great choice of meals, the car very was one of the best I have had in a long time whith plenty of meat rather than the two or three slices you get at a lot of places.lovely eating area outside if the weather is good or large eating area inside if needed. Staff were helpful and attentive, would recommend for anyone staying in the area.

The history of the building and the "quirkiness" are extremely interesting. It is like staying in a piece of history. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and it really does feel more like staying at someone's house as opposed to a hotel.

The Hotel I been going to for over 9 years
Since Debbie the Manager has taken over I seen great changes.
Debbie works hard with her team.
The hotel, the Rooms, and Food are fantastic
I love the Scole the village, the Post office next door, it's great cannot wait to see how Christmas goes with Covid but I will be back as soon as !
Original building/hotel is stunning, as we had our dog with us we were in an outside block, also old - maybe original stables? but stylish conversion/spacious room, so easy to walk out with our dog. Enjoyed great evening meal (restricted menu as Covid, still great!) good service from Ross, plus no new pots on menu but on asking - appeared - thank you! lovely br'fast, again great service from Bethan. Staff we met are a credit to hotel.
The hotel itself is beautiful and the room was huge. The heating was blaring which was perfect given the January temperatures. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is quite overpriced for what you get (cooked breakfast and a cereal/toast selection). The bar wasn’t great and the lighting was harsh in there even though they tried to give it a cosy vibe, but there’s a lovely local pub across the road.
A very old coaching inn with a rich history- good location for our trip.
Reception were very helpful giving us a list of contacts as the local taxi firm we thought we’d book had let us down.
Good size room with a huge 4 poster bed. Warm room.
Info in room regarding hotels history was interesting
I have stayed here many times, simply because it is an very good hotel at a reasonable price, and it is local to where I often work. It doesn't have a swimming pool, gym or spa but I don't need them, so for me it's great. Staff are friendly and efficient.
I have stayed at this hotel in the past and as I found during my previous stay, my overnight accommodation was very comfortable, this time being located in the coach house. Breakfast was well presented and served by a very pleasant waitress.
Very comfortable twin room, beds comfy and a good width. Staff were helpful and friendly, and the hotel had a nice feel to it. Good dairy free choices available for breakfast. Plenty of parking. Would definitely stay again.
Great location, safe off road car park, rooms comfortable, lovely shower, great breakfast and they accommodate different dietary requirements, friendly staff, dog friendly hotel. Would definitely stay again if in the area.
Julie and Mark have done a superb job with the pub/hotel. Room was clean and nicely done out and there were plug sockets next to the bed.
Food was amazing thanks to Julie. Such a lovely, friendly couple. Lorna & Gary
The restaurant was very good, very convenient after a day out and about. Reasonably priced for the area. The hotel met our expectations. It was a lovely period house well worth giving a try. Breakfast was excellent
This is should not be called a hotel. It does not have the normal services that you would expect from a hotel, from servicing of the rooms to provide clean towels daily.
Love the building. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable and the hotel is well situated for my needs. Food was tasty and plentiful.
