Me and my family stayed here in April 2024 for a birthday weekend away. The house was very comfortable for us, and the location was very convenient with bus stops and a train station nearby. Seamill Beach is a 20 minute walk away. The host is excellent, and very professional. The kids loved our stay away last week and will definitely be back in the near future.

Staff friendly and very accommodating. Spacious bar downstairs used by locals and residents with tv. Upstairs restaurant with amazing sea views, lovely food. Very clean and spacious bedrooms which have a tea/coffee making facilities, fridge with milk and water. Lovely big bathroom with walk in shower. We would definitely return

Nardinis ice cream parlour and fish and chip premises is rightly famous, well worth a visit. So is the lovely Haylies hotel farther on for steak etc. The Seamill Hydro next door is a fab hotel with a lovely pool but does loads of weddings. There is lots more too. There is the wonderful nearby coastal walk near Portencross and a castle there to see.

I found Seamill Hydro to be very comfortable. I have a nice large bathroom which was well appointed. I enjoyed using the spa facilities. The food was good, not fancy just good. The is a lovely beach walk to enjoy as well.

The hotel, restaurant and toilets were spotlessly clean. Beautiful venue with wonderful views. Seamill is close to Westkilbride that has some interesting shops. A walk away from the Castle at Portencross. Lovely place to visit for picnics and relaxation.

The hotel was immaculate, not one thing was dirty or out of place. Staff very helpful, we ended up booking a second room last minute and so didn't have dinner booked but the staff made it happen for us. Thank you! Less than a 20-minute walk and you are in the town centre as well as a beach right beside you and lovely views of the water. Had a great stay.

Local families having a break together rather than fly by night tourists like us! It was relaxing yet jolly, luxurious yet affordable. Note we rolled in covered in dust from Ayrshire music festival at a distant farm, we looked very eccentric and yet the staff were as welcoming as to the folks in their Sunday best.
