The location was ideal for the station and the city centre, a short walk to both. The public rooms were clean and modern, the bedroom was clean and modern too, the bathroom was lovely with a walk on shower. All staff members were interacted with were excellent, very friendly and helpful

The location is extremely close to the City Centre, and although next door to York mainline Station, we did not hear any noise. The staff were friendly and very helpful with the reception team being extremely welcoming. Check in was quick and efficient and the room was what we expected.
Situated on the banks of the River Ouse, The Queens Hotel is ideally located for the many shops, restaurants and bars that the centre of York has to offer.
