A very nice destination, though we were looking for an overnight stop on the way to the Lakes. We discussed returning and using the Fleece Inn as a base for other adventures. Really impressed with the way this inn is set up: Local hub, hotel, visitors' centre.

Complicated dining area adjacent to a busy noisy bar.
Complicated dining area adjacent to a busy noisy bar. Not a good dining experience for a quality hotel. Breakfast was served in a large room which would make an ideal hotel dining room.
The food was excellent.
