Perfect weekend, stunning place to stay! Emiko was great aswell as the other staff member (can’t remember her name). By far the most relaxing place we’ve stayed! I would recommend dinning in, good value home cooked food! We will be returning in the near future.

Breakfast was varied and plentiful.
Location has stunning views and it was lovely sitting outside looking across the estuary to The Fells.
Hosts were friendly and David helped with finding a restaurant for that day.

The room was very cosy, excellent bed and everything was spotless. Very clean and the Hot Tub was amazing. Although we didnt use the self catering facilities laid on, everything was available.

Room 4 has a huge comfortable bed, a good shower and even a microwave and mini-fridge. Sherry & her daughter Lauren were always friendly and helpful. Good sized and tasty breakfasts.

Silecroft is a nice little place and also has a golf course, lovely beach with long walks but beach cafe now closed so nowhere to have a cuppa after your walk. There are no seats or shops so you will need to take your own seats and eats. The pub in Silecroft is only open part time and had no chef, We had to dine at the Old Kings Head in Broughton which is very nice and reasonable prices but around 20 minutes drive

Silecroft village itself is very small, there's nothing to do there - just a few houses and one pub. We had an excellent pub meal at the Miners Arms, nothing fancy just good size portions of pub grub. Go through the village and the road takes you straight to Silecroft beach where there is a free car park and a small cafe (looks rather run down). There are miles of empty beach for walking. Murthwaite Green Riding Centre do lovely beach rides, the owner is very friendly and there are mounts to suit all levels. We had a fantastic meal at the Blacksmith's Arms at Broughton Mills, about a 15 minute drive from our accommodation.

The cottage was lovely, very cosy.
The cottage was lovely, very cosy. Everything you needed was there and if not there is a Tesco about 5miles away for any bits you needed. Would definately recommend if you wanted a quiet, peaceful break.
