Luckily for us both of our stops were on a Tuesday, so we were able to dine from the Hungry Horse evening meal bargain menu. Excellent range of breakfasts to choose from, good sized portions!

I had actually stayed for a total of 7 nights, visiting my husband in the nearby hospital. It's within walking distance. Had met many friendly and helpful people who helped me with directions. Enjoyed walks in two nearby parks, as recommended by the very friendly staff at The Gates Cafe. Staff at the Brocket Arms were very friendly - special thanks to Ben who's very patient and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were very good value. Dinners were fine too except Alfredo Pasta which came in tiny portion.

Staff were very friendly and allowed us to check in early. The room was comfy, clean and inviting. Fantastic value for money, especially with cooked breakfast included with a great choice of food.
