Parkside Guest House, hotel in Snaith

Quietly located in Pollington, the family-run Parkside Guest House offers free WiFi throughout and free onsite parking.

Whilst we didn’t meet any staff (this wasn’t necessary) their communication was excellent. Contactable by SMS with an immediate response. The property was easily located using the instructions provided. The 3 bedrooms were of good size, each with a double bed and plentiful bedding, pillows and towels. The bathroom was of reasonable size with an electric over bath shower. The property was a good base to explore all the parts of Yorkshire we intended, travelling by car to the Yorkshire Dales, Hull, York and Whitby.

firtrees, hotel in Snaith

Offering garden views, firtrees is accommodation set in Selby. This self-catered holiday home boasts a garden and free private parking.

The cottage was beautiful, homely, bright, and clean, with great private parking. The lounge was probably our favourite room, with it's cosy sofas and immitation log burner. There was a lovely pub nearby serving great food, and it was easy to get out to all our places of interest from this handy base. Anita and Tony were extremely helpful and sorted out any issues we brought to their attention. Excellent hosts and a lovely cottage. We'd definitely stay here again.

Lovely Inn, staff friendly and took the time to chat with you. Food was excellent, only down side was there was no real ale in the bar. We stayed for 4 nights but struggled to find things to do in the area, we had to drive out of the area to find places of interest.
