You couldn't ask for more here at the Days Inn I shall always come back here! Luxury compared to the place I walked out off last night do not go to the J8 M27 it's a total smelly Doss house
Great city, bit rough around the edges, great shopping, wonderful history, One of the UK's best art galleries, to be less then 1-4 meter away from work by Monet, Rodin and there is hardly anyone else around, so you could enjoy the art peacefully. Two great theatres, loads of wonderful places to eat, great cinema.
We went to Royal Victoria country park went twice that was interesting there was a hospital there during the war but only the chapel survived a roof fire so the hospital had to be demolished. Interesting lot of history here. Also we went to Hythe and Calshot beach both nice places to visit. Calshot a good place to see boats/cruise ships.
It is near the bus station, there are shops at walking distance, If you book a cruise it is the right place to stay very near the cruise terminal, there are many restaurants and it is easy to get around
Was here really for a Saints game, but found so much more. People were really nice. Seems like there is a lot to do. We popped over to Isle of Wight with the car ferry. That was fun. Spent time at the Junction Inn, met new friends, great local pub. Would love to come back some day.
It is a beautiful city, with a very good bus service, taxi’s are reasonable and reliable. There is lots to do with the arts, we visited the Museum to see the the Titanic exhibition amongst many more exhibitions , great facilities and cafe ,excellent day for us which we rounded off by a stroll through one of many parks well tended with plenty seating and recycling bins. There is an excellent variety of restaurants catering for all cultures. If you’re cruising it’s worth adding on extra days to see the city which feels very safe to walk around even in the evening.
Our room was the cheapest in Southampton for our dates so we were unsure what to expect. However we had a great stay! The cleanliness of the room was far more than I had expected for the price of our trip, we'd brought our own travel cot just in case but we were very happy with the Hotel's one so didn't use our own. The room size was great and the super king bed a bonus! Great location too!
staff were all friendly and helpful, breakfast was really yummy with lots of choice! the room was really spacious (we had a double with sofa bed) and it easily fitted 2 adults & a sofa bed and a cot in it. room and hotel was nice and clean. great location close to Southampton, new forest and peppa pig world.
Absolutely love staying here. Always have a great night sleep as the beds are so comfortable. The room is so clean and offers everything you could need during your stay!! Staff are so friendly and very helpful. Easy walk into town and ubers are cheap from the hotel! Love the decor!!
Having previously lived in Southampton, I was always keen to stay at this boutique hotel in the centre of town. The location is excellent, and the look and feel of the hotel is very cosy and comfortable. Couldn't fault the facilities, the service or the quality of the food.
Very good swift check in at reception. Easy access to lifts and rooms , well located but restricted to the yacht side . Great views from the top restaurant , breakfast has pros can cons . The free transfer from hotel to the cruise port.
Southampton
It was convenient to both the bus station and not too far for the cruise port. The apt was just off a nice pedestrian area of stores and an ATM was steps away. I likes that there was a fan, as it was historically hot in England at the time.
Was unsure what staying at budget hotel would be like but it was really good. Room clean and fresh. Hotel staff very helpful. And breakfast was also good. Car parking good too. Location great.
We had an amazing room with a nice view. The hotel is very pretty and has lots of activities available in the lounge. Location is perfect, near the sea and town center. Very good experience 😊
Very good hotel for short stay. Beds comfortable. Breakfast good. Close to train station, cruise terminal, old town. Uber ride from train station 13usd, to cruise terminal about 15Usd.
situation was perfect for visiting the shopping areas, and staff were fantastic, which made up for the hotel being rather shabby
Excellent English breakfast, very good service too! Hotel 15 min walk from hub-bub of Southampton town centre - ideal!
Clean and simple hotel with very attentive staff. Breakfast included was good. Room was clean and comfortable.
A well positioned hotel within easy reach of Southampton cruise terminal. Nice clean hotel and obliging staff.
Best hotel we stayed in on our 3 month trip. Outstanding all the way around .A+
The grounds of the hotel were lovely, good size television and nice shower.
