We had a Family Room which was very comfortable and spacious and had a sea view. The Bathroom was adequate, however the Shower in the Bath needed to be upgraded as the water kept moving from cold to hot to cold throughout the shower.
The location was excellent.
The breakfast was very good!!
Set in Deal and with Deal Castle Beach reachable within 200 metres, Queen Street Tap offers a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar.
Rather tired and in need of refurbishment. But clean and comfortable, wth everything you need for a self-catering stay. Lovely, quiet location. As a private hire we had to pay for temporary passes in order to use the swiming pool and bar/cafe areas.

South Foreland Lighthouse has great views and is nice for afternoon tea.
Dover Castle is easily a two day visit. Castle one day, WW2 tunnels a second.
Walmer Castle is a nice day exploring the gardens.
Great Places to eat: The Coastguard, St Margaret's Bay.
The Court Yard, Sondes Road, Deal. Both have great food, and very friendly, helpful staff.
Zetland Arms in Kingsdown is VERY busy, good place for a drink but food service is slow and the dining area is noisy.
