We stayed in Staines because it's close to Windsor and we were visiting the castle. The view of the river Thames from our hotel (The Swan) was lovely. It was interesting to watch so many different boats, kayaks and barges passing by. We went for a short walk around the hotel and everything looked clean and very serene.

Hotel has lovely views right on River Thames.

Hotel has lovely views right on River Thames. Staines Town shops are poor. Plenty of eateries everywhere. Interesting buildings if you look for them, but shopping is going downhill fast. I used to live here & notice the difference. If you love the river, you will like Staines-upon-Thames & you can walk a long way on the path.

This was self catering so no breakfast included. The property is an excellent size very close to Staines mainline station. There are shops within walking distance and everything is close by. The property is well equipped and I was able to cook my own food with ease. Fridge freezer, microwave oven and cooker all included. The apartment is huge and would be ideal for a traveling couple who wanted to explore the nearby area. Overall excellent and Joseph was very helpful. I would definitely stay again.

Everything! The room was well presented, clean and full of plenty of choices for breakfast from a variety of cereals, croissants, bread, fruit, yoghurts, and lots of choices for drinks, both hot and cold. It was just wonderful, better than a hotel room as everything was on tap, no hassles or stresses! The host was just lovely, too, and so helpful that she's literally thought of everything. Which made the whole stay just perfect!

The food offered was excellent. Relaxed comfortable dining area. Excellent attentive staff. The receptionist was the greatest asset any hotel could have wanted. Helpful, honest ( we were woken at an ungodly hour by a fire alarm, apparently do to someone smoking in their room) she was apologetic and explained what had happened.

A great hotel right on the river that is literally minutes from Heathrow airport. It’s a short drive from Windsor Castle too. This is the place to stay on your last night. If you were headed out, it is convenient drive to make your flight. Comfortable room with a pub downstairs and the breakfast was yummy.

Riverside location could not be beat. Room 1 even has a balcony with river view. Good soundproofing in room means you can’t hear the pub below. Dinner and breakfast at the pub were great. Incredibly friendly staff. Clean. We did two big Thames Path walks from the hotel. Highly recommend this place.

The location in Staines was great. It was very near High Street and right around the corner was a fantastic food court. The house itself was spacious and comfortable and the facilities well kept. Finally, the service was amazing, questions were answered promptly.
