Nice little village about half way between Kendal and Windermere. By car it is only 10 mins to Windermere and 20 mins to Ambleside. Giving you easy access to the Lake District National Park. The village itself has a Fish and Chip Shop and a couple of nice Pubs. While we were there we had a lovely meal at the Eagle and Child Pub which also has a lovely riverside Beer Garden.
