Holiday Inn Express Bridgwater M5, Jct24, an IHG Hotel in Bridgwater has 3-star accommodation with a shared lounge, a restaurant and a bar. The hotel also offers free WiFi and free private parking.

We were allocated another hotel due to the Holiday Inn being refurbed, however the replacement was excellent, we stayed at the Hotel Ibis, Bridgewater, we had 1 twin & 1 double connecting rooms which were amazing. Loved the "industrial" feel and look of the decor. Breakfast was slow and had to wait for food to be replenished, however it was very good.

the twin beds in the bedroom were very sturdy and nice and their was a matress topper onto of the mattres! the room wasn't very large for two larger older folk men travellers but we managed ok. the bathroom and walk-in shower was lovely and designed for a large person or two showering together - a couple. there was plenty of lovely hot water in, when showering on the departing monday morning - and free shower gel and shampoo conditioner in the shower - and hand sink - great!! the young manager lady - was brillant, both young ladies on the reception desk checking-in and the young bar tender, server lady here all! the sunday accommodation price was was 68pds for the night, with a 9pds car parking charge on-site in the reception area, paid on arrival! this ibis motel, hotel is situated right behind the very large morrisons warehouse and scania new truck sales unit, compound, in near bridgewater, just on the righthand side of the M5 Motorway traveling southbound.

Great welcoming tea ! fancy some party card games ? or just a great laugh or chat with interesting and intelligent owner’s, in comfortable surroundings Ivy cottage will do you proud. You do need a car for the trip to the pub for food, but don’t stay to long its just as much fun at the cottage :-) Just a few minutes from M5 , Ivy cottage is a good base to visit Cheddar/ Bridgewater/Wells/Glastonbury

Tiny roads, but that's rural Britain.

Tiny roads, but that's rural Britain. Friendly drivers making difficult roads easier, but that's rural Britain. Friendly neighbours in the village and other locations. Other guests were also friendly. Quiet and full of nature, birds, other wild life. Lovely and peaceful.
