Great staff. They made us feel very welcome. The buffet breakfast was spot on. Me and my family will be going back there 👌👌👌
In a peaceful, rural location, this country house was originally built in 1845. Today, the house has been converted into a luxurious privately owned hotel with many beautiful original features.

Good location for us visiting Alton Towers, free parking, breakfast was nice and good quality. They had a little area for children inside which was nice and a little park outside.

We arrived around 6:30pm and we were shown around the area (the hut and the bathroom)then left to enjoy a peaceful evening! Host was excellent at providing us with dinner options around the local area, the hut was in perfect condition and the bed was super comfortable! We had some lovely visitors (ducks and chickens as well as a cat!) shame the weather wasn’t great but we will definitely make up for this during the summer as we cannot wait to travel back to this location! Thank you again for the lovely hospitality!

We went to Alton Towers which was great but extremely expensive and very crowded so only managed 3 rides, due to the queing times.
Didn't really see much more of Stoke apart from our hotel, which was very nice.

As previously stated - there was nothing positive in the slightest. However, on reading some other reviews (wish I’d read them before booking) it was reassuring to see similar comments and photographs. As for those people giving it 9/10 and 10/10 reviews are either from the hotel, or being paid to write a totally dishonest review. The place is desperate…and no matter how you try to dress it up - it is not fit for purpose and should be removed from booking.com

My husband chose the holiday.
My husband chose the holiday. I booked the hotel and its location as I was born in Stoke on Trent. It was near to Wedgwood World and other attraction we wanted to visit. The area has changed vastly since I lived there and we relied on a Satnav to get around by car. We stayed for 4 nights. On the last day we visited Trentham gardens shopping centre which was well worth the visit. However, we spent more time there and didn't get to see the gardens which were done by Capability Brown. The swimming pool we used to visit when I was a child was long gone and I would have been interested to visit the gardens. We would stay in this hotel again due to its convenient location.. Stoke on Trent is the 'Potteries'. It's industrial era cam to a close in the 20th century with its coal mines closes, pottery firms moved out and the Shelton steel works closed down. I haven't lived there for over 50 years and it was good to come back to see the town is still thriving. I did not visit the Stadium or Regent Theatre. I did visit Moorcroft and Middleton potteries. We would have visited Gladstone pottery but it was closed.

A wet gloomy day, we met great friendly people, at the bus stop, close to Holiday Inn.
Locals chatted and were most helpful.
Town was quiet, we were not interested in shopping.
Walked through the market,indoors.
The best coffee in the centre of town, served by friendly professional staff.

If you have an interest in The production of China then Stoke is an ideal location. The potteries museum has a ver comprehensive collection of China through the ages as well as part of the Staffordshire hoard. A short distance from the city centre is the fabulous V&A Wedgewood collection.
Efficient check in with very pleasant staff. Car park only across the road and you could be car from hotel.
Covid safe.
Snacks and drinks available for sale in reception.
Lovely clean room. Comforable bed with chaise longe to relax. Bathroom with great shower- only design fault was shower glass wall should be longer.
Lovely toiletries and large towels.
Tv on wall was huge which was great. Excellent room service meal which was reasonably priced.
Gym facilities were great.
Highly recommended if looking for accomodation in Stoke.
The rooms were clean to a high standard,
All staff and management were excellent friendly and caring my partner took really poorly while staying here and had to be took to stoke royal , the staff where excellent thoughtful and kind during this happening and we're going above and beyond to ensure we were okay.... The staff and management are a credit to this hotel thank yous so much we Appriciate everything
The breakfasts are nice aswell well cooked nice runny eggs... Perfect thankyous all again
The receptionist on Sunday was super friendly and made checking in a doddle. Lovely clean room with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was also spotless. A nice selection of food for the evening meal on Sunday night too. The property had warned of late music until midnight ahead of my arrival but either than got cancelled or they were miles away = I heard nothing..! As a cat-dad, meeting "Bella" the hotel cat at check-in was a highlight for me too.
To be clear, this hotel scores high on convenience (opposite the station), external appearance (lovely building) and - especially - value for money. I paid £59.50 for B&B, (NB wifi would have been extra) and the breakfast was a full English buffet. By any standards that's value for money. In all those senses it provided exactly what I wanted for a one-night stay. And the staff were pleasant and helpful.
Hosts go above and beyond to make their guests feel welcome. By far the best service I've had at a B&B and I've stayed in hotels all over the world. Couldn't recommend this place enough, if you're staying in Stoke, you should stay here. The rooms are immaculate and the beds are super comfy too!
The hotel has plenty of on site parking and the location is great for visiting Stoke-On-Trent.
The staff are polite, efficient and professional.
Facilities are good and the food at breakfast and at dinner was very good.
Our room had nice decor and was spacious enough for one night.
The hotel is in a great location in Stoke City Centre. The staff at reception were also very helpful and lovely. The WIFI worked well, the bed was comfortable etc. We didn't stay for breakfast because we had to leave for work meeting.
The hotel was great, good location to train station and to the city center. Staff were warm and friendly, bed was very comfy. The food was lovely, breakfast was fantastic, good portions too. Overall,a great place to stay.
All of the ceramic touches made it uniquely a hotel in Stoke-on-Trent. We loved the availability of all of the ceramic picture books and the molds and vases and pottery used in the Lobby decor. That was a highlight.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. It is located near city center so you can walk to anything you need including the bus station.
Bed was comfortable, room itself was clean, great location for getting into Hanley. It was good value but be aware it's not a hotel, more like a hostel with private rooms.
