Lovely, well finished room and bathroom; fell asleep to the sound of two Tawny Owls hooting to each other.

Listen this is a lovely hotel with wonderful, warm and friendly staff. Heard lots of good things about it. The food is pretty decent for the price. Me and my friend booked a double room each but seemed to be booked into the adjoing apartments. Really poor dated, damp place with no lighting and a very very uncomfortable bed. Was only here fir 1 night thankfully. Don't take the apartments I believe the hotel rooms are decent.

We always use this hotel due to its location for onward travel to Ireland 🇮🇪
It is a small village. It is an excellent location to visit the Mull of Galloway lighthouse which has a cheap tour . It is the most southerly point in Scotland. There are also nice beaches and an RSPB site at the lighthouse The Logan gardens are also close to this area. We saw a snow goose. This is only the second Snow goose I have seen in Scotland. The locals said it appears on a regular basis

It was an older type property / country house with all the quirkiness you would expect from days gone by but the mix mash of books, pictures, photos and tartan carpets and rugs not to mention the collections of signed cricket bats makes Tors Warren a must place to visit.

Stoneykirk is remote but a lovely place to escape to. Close to spectacular coastline and in the middle of the countryside, it's quiet with no real local facilities but so much nearby. A great base for exploring Galloway. We visited Portpatrick about 8 miles away which is a lovely little town with some great places to eat. You need to enjoy the outdoors and be able to plan your own itinerary to get the most from a visit here.

This is an excellent place to stay if you want peace and quiet. Breakfast is excellent, the beds are comfortable the bathrooms are very clean and recently fitted out.
The building is full of character as are the two resident Alpaca, Porridge and Patch who live in the field.
Everything is calm and quiet, Galloway is a quiet scenic area of the country, with rolling hills and livestock farms.
You are not far from Mull of Galloway with its lighthouse, very nice tea room and abundant bird life. Belfast is only a ferry ride away, the port of Cairnryan is 20 mins from this B& B.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by a helpful receptionist, who confirmed our booking and showed us to our room. However we then had to make our way out of the main part of the hotel, to an annexe, which usually means 2nd class facilities. How wrong could I be??? We were given 2 keys, as we had our own front door, together with the room key. Upon entering we were amazed at the size of the room, and the same can be said for the bathroom. Peaceful location and wonderful breakfast.
The staff were very accommodating, with the bad weather we almost missed dinner but the chef stayed on to ensure we got something to eat, after a long drive this was greatly appreciated. The food at both dinner and breakfast was delicious with a variety of options to choose from.
We stayed in the royal blue room which was gorgeous and very comfortable.
Overall the atmosphere of the hotel was welcoming and cosy, the library bar was beautiful.
It feels like a country house and not a hotel but not a b&b either. It quiet with lots of comfortable communal space, the quiet bar / library and lounge is excellent to relax in. Having stayed a few times the bedrooms are very individual, all shapes and sizes, comfortable beds some rooms spacious others more compact. Excellent garden and outdoor seating, very nice breakfast, good car park and very quiet area of the country.
The breakfast was lovely. Really friendly service from all the staff!! Overall it was a great little getaway!! Lots of historic things to explore and beautiful scenery!! One of our favourite towns was Portpatrick, really pretty!! In Portpatrick we had dinner a couple of times at the Harbour house hotel really lovely food and a picturesque view.
The staff are so professional, polite and accomandating, nothing is to much trouble for them. I highly recommend everyone to stay here, if you want to experience being treated like a VIP. Because that how the staff at the torrs Warren made me and my family feel. Can't wait for my next visit.
We loved our room in this lovely hotel, with a great view of the furry friends (llamas I think?) living in the garden! Breakfast was amazing, kept us going until mid-afternoon! The staff were really kind, helpful and friendly and we loved the bar and library area.
This hotel is priced more reasonably than so called budget hotels like Travelodge yet it offers a far better and more comfortable place to enjoy your stay. Very friendly and helpful staff always willing to help
The hotel was lovely - beats a modern hotel hands down with regard to character. Beautiful surroundings and peaceful. Staff went above and beyond - very accommodating! My new favourite place to stay!
Very comfortable hotel in a lovely location. Our room was very clean and a good size with large on- suite. Nice cooked breakfast with attentive staff.
Would stay here again - highly recommend
Beautiful country hotel with alpacas in the paddock. Lovely outside seating area. Room was very cosy but clean and comfortable
