Very close to the perfect village of Kinver. Perfect for travelers, walking distance from Kinver's Edge. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was good. Also there was great atmosphere in the pub in the evening.
Staff were very nice.

The hotel was in a very good location, particularly as the purpose of our visit was to go to the living museum.
It was nice to walk to the nearby bar and the huge shopping centre.
The room was clean and the bed comfortable.
We had a lovely welcome from the receptionist on arrival and my husband received a birthday card and a voucher for a free drink in the hotel.
We upgraded our room which cost £50, as this included breakfast for both days it was worth it.
We also enjoyed the swimming pool and jacuzzi and found that the pool and changing area was very clean.

Attractions worth visiting which can be reached by bus or car are Black country Living Museum, Kinver Rock Houses, the Glass Museum and the Clent Hills. Some websites also list attractions in Birmingham, but for them you are better off staying in Birmingham.

I can only be honest & say this was the most surreal hotel visit & worst hotel experience of my life so far. I don’t wish to be mean or excessively critical but the only positive I can say is that the bed was comfortable & clean & the room was clean & spacious in the end once I could finally access it at 12:30am, 10 hours plus after check in opened.

I was just traveling through as I had arrived late into Birmingham airport and was looking for a place to sleep before being picked up by a friend in the morning and the airport hotels were very expensive.
There isn’t much to see in Stourbridge really. Nice town but not a tourist destination

I like the character and quirkiness of Stourbridge high street. It’s a short street easy to walk but it makes it easy to get things from the local shops if you need to when staying at the Talbot.
I also like the layout of the whole town and the rail and bus stations.
We struggle to find somewhere nice to stay when we come to visit family in Stourbridge but this property ticked all the boxes. It is clean, cosy and so comfortable . Lots of little extras that make it feel like home including a very much appreciated welcome pack. Perfectly situated for us visiting extended family around the West Midlands and Shropshire with plenty of secure parking. We will certainly be looking out for availability when we next visit.
A beautifully restored and maintained pub hotel hosted by exceptionally friendly and helpful staff offering great value meals in a choice of comfortable and spacious rooms. The bedrooms also are spacious and named. Mine was Holders Brewery and featured appropriate historical photographs on the walls. The bar offers 13 cask ales on an impressively long row of hand pumps. The hotel is very close to the railway station
Lovely spacious apartment, well appointed and equipped, super comfy bed, lovely crockery, enough cutlery, well heated and with its own private gated parking . The location within a few minutes walk of Stourbridge junction suited me very well for the half hour train trip into central Birmingham for the day. Shops, park and petrol all very close by. A super luxurious stay.
Good price. Very friendly and helpful staff. Location worked for what we needed. There are plenty of plug sockets. Extra pillows. Place to hang clothes. Decent drink selection in the bar. Nice big window in the room. Free parking. The building had great character. Spacious hotel. Soap and shower gel provided
This is a prime location and close to the Stourbridge Junction train station.
I enjoyed the Talbot Burger 🍔 and the nice ambience of the place.
The rooms were neat and quiet.
The bar had a traditional pool table and catered to my thirst for a chilled pint of Guinness.
I would definitely go back.
Superbly run hotel. Nothing was any trouble for the staff. All our needs were very well catered for. My father and myself had a fantastic time here and the food served was of very high standard and quality. We shall definitely be returning. 10/10. 😃
Staff were amazing, chatty and approachable, bar food was great and room was extremely comfortable. Would recommend 100% to anybody looking to stay in a lovely and picturesque area.
Lovely room - the Delft Room - very historic and interesting to be in the old part of this hotel.
A kettle, tea and coffee in the room is a bonus.
Lots of free parking outside.
The hotel was beautiful, very historic, the staff were very friendly and helpful, my room was lovely , will definitely stay again but will ask for a different room next time
