A historic town with three famous working breweries. There are a number of traditional pubs. Set on the river Wharfe with a lovely riverside and many historic buildings. There are several walking routes and a swimming pool.

Could have used convenient park and ride. Lovely welcome by owners. Super interesting history, people and grounds. Lovely traditional house, room and breakfast. Hosts offered tea/coffee & cake when we arrived and when we came in the next night at 'no added charge'. It's also nice & close to Tadcaster which is great for John Smith fans!!DavidYoung couple
