We tend to visit Tenby out of season as in mid-summer, with the schools off it would be very busy. Nice little town overlooking two great beaches. South beach is huge when the tide is out. Plenty of pubs/cafés etc. though in high season I suggest booking ahead for tables if you can. Spring 2024 taxi trips within the town area are £5.00.

Tenby is a lovely place with a few nice pubs and reastaurants/cafes - normal shops for that type of area - not actual banks but a couple of cash machines are about - Gets too busy in the summer but just before and just after are imo the best times to go - the beaches are lush and well kept - Don't drop litter etc as there are enforcement officers wondering about - even if by accident you will get a £150 fine :(

Lovely town on the Pembrokeshire coast.
Lovely town on the Pembrokeshire coast. So much to explore with some of the best beaches in the UK. Lots of cafes & restaurants, gift shops & independent suppliers, as well as some higher end chain stores. This wasn't my first visit & will not be my last.

Oakley cafe on the square did great food and coffee with a touch of Greek on the menu. Staff were pleasant and friendly.
The Crown pub next door to the Imperial hotel had a warm friendly atmosphere and good beers on sale… for my husband and good wine for me. Dogfriendly too… and friendly Staff.
We had a delicious breakfast at the indoor market and reasonably priced too.

Tenby is very clean and beautiful.
Tenby is very clean and beautiful. There is a large selections of cafe/restaurants to eat at (we found it easy to book a table on line)customer service so so friendly and accommodating and the food itself reasonable and delicious. The
Lots of fabulous independent shops to wander around as well as your little Tesco and Sainsburys etc. The Coach and Horses did probably the best Surf and Turf ive ever tasted and The Qube an excellent steak too,
Beaches - 3 main beaches; North, South and Castle Beach all beautiful and unique - a pleasure to visit -great to visit when the boats are running to Caldey Island etc,
Tenby is very accessible and easy to find your bearings and its just lovely walking along different alleyways and getting the beautiful view of the sea at the end,
Tenby an excellent base, we visited Saundersfoot on this occasion and on other stays have visited Narbeth, Oakwood Park and Folly Farm.
We have visited various events on NYE and have found a lot of the time quite nervewracking by amounts of people and not well organised - Tudor Square fireworks quite the opposite , well organised , family friendly and so much fun - 100% recommend,
It was a total surprise how nice it was. Reading the mixed reviews I thought I would give it a try as it was a good price. Glad I did. It's location is on the seafront and you can walk easily to the attractions and shops.
The place does need to be refurbished in the communal areas but my bedroom was big, modern and comfortable
The tea a coffee was replenished daily.
The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was far the best I had for taste and value for money in the three hotels I stayed at on my trip.
Really good value for money
Staff were very friendly from booking in to breakfast and seeing staff around the hotel.
Room was quite basic but had everything we needed for a 2 night break, did have a slight smell in the bathroom.
Breakfast was between 8 -9:30 with a selection of pastries, cereals, fruit & yogurts that you could have alongside a cooked breakfast.
The walls are quite thin so when there was lots of traffic through the corridors it was quite noisy.
Cheap and cheerful and in the centre of Tenby 👍🏻
The staff at the Park worked hard, within the confines of the existing Covid restrictions, to ensure a really pleasant stay at a great location. The property is about a 10 minute walk to the town (go via the beach if the sun is shining) and the views from the hotel garden towards the town of Tenby, and beyond, are stunning. We stayed in room 102 with uninterrupted views of the town harbour in all it's colourful glory with Calder Island in the background. One to keep coming back to :-)
I loved my three nights stay as been two years since any holiday. The hotel is a grand listed building that give large spacious rooms and wonderful sea views to stay in. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The breakfast consisted of a variety of food to eat and music played throughout. I would love to find the hotel offering lunch and dinner one day to their customers. The area of Tenby is really beautiful, peaceful and relaxing.
Well done!
We had a clean, quiet main floor room at these self/catering apartments. Looked on the sea and room was very nice size for two of us. King bed, galley kitchen and bathroom with small shower. Main window has a glaze which helps with privacy but best views are a quick stroll across the street. Staff at Charles Hotel where check-in friendly, welcoming and the amenities of hotel open to Carnock guests. Great spot to explore Tenby from.
The room was clean and contained all the necessary facilities. It is conveniently located close to the station and a short walk away from the beach as well as the town centre. Peter is an extremely nice and friendly host who arranged for a good breakfast in the morning. He also gave me good suggestions for sightseeing around Tenby. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I would love to go back if possible !
Lovely big room with everything that we needed - with a large seating area. Exceptionally tasty breakfast - help yourself to fresh fruit and cereals, plenty of coffee, and a great cooked breakfast. Fresh farm shop produce. Very friendly and helpful hosts. The house is within a short walking distance of all the beaches, shops and restaurants that Tenby has on offer. Very much enjoyed our stay.
Great location on the seafront, with a stunning sea view from our bedroom over the beach and across to Caldey island
Room was very comfortable
Breakfast was delcious - we enjoyed the seagull on our windsill who came to watch - but don't feed him !
Town is a short walk away to go for dinner etc. or walk round the harbour or on the beach
Tenby is one of the most lovely towns in Britain.
A great short stay in Tenby at the Park Hotel. Amazing views across the bay from the top of the cliff. Great to have onsite parking, and its an easy walk into the town centre along the sea front. There is also a cliff path which is very steep so not for people with mobility issues.
Room was small but comfortable and we had a sea view. The garden bar was a nice area to have a drink.
Room was spacious, maybe a little bit dated but nice and clean. The location is amazing, right in the middle of Tenby and just steps away from all the shops and restaurants and the sea front. Staff were super friendly, we struggled to find anywhere to eat - all restaurants were fully booked for dinner, so on both nights at the last minute they found us a table,
We enjoyed the Breakfast and the Dinner choices. All the meals were delicious. The service was very attentive to our needs. The restaurant tables were well spaced out, and the area is well lit with all the glass windows and the glass canopy over it. Very nice cosy Hotel and we thoroughly recommend it for a short break holiday.
Hotel and grounds are in a lovely location and is approx a 15 min walk into Tenby. Breakfast was fresh and hot and plenry of choice. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Room was clean and spacious enough for 2 and very quiet at night. Would definately recommend this property and would stay again.
Lovely hotel. Wonderful location right on the seafront. Room was large with all the facilities you'd expect. I turned up early and staff were wonderful and called me when room was ready. Spacious bar and lounge area to relax in. Breakfast staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was great!
The location is brilliant, not too far from the harbour and the dog friendly south beach in Tenby…..the views from our hotel room were amazing. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful considering everything
Bright, spacious and clean rooms. Charlie and the Team are great, friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was lovely and Tenby is just a short drive away (can walk there in approx. 30/40 mins)
Loved our stay - thank you!
Lovely spacious room with a large bathroom, located within walking distance of Tenby for restaurants and beaches, with parking and we could bring the dog, a very homely and friendly place to stay
Excellent location. Short walk to beach ,harbour and town.
Car parking space outside apartment which most holiday apartments in Tenby do not have.
Would rebook in future.
The staff were very friendly and happy to help! The rooms were very modern with a comfortable and cosy feel. I would definitely revisit the Heywood spa hotel!
