We tend to visit Tenby out of season as in mid-summer, with the schools off it would be very busy. Nice little town overlooking two great beaches. South beach is huge when the tide is out. Plenty of pubs/cafés etc. though in high season I suggest booking ahead for tables if you can. Spring 2024 taxi trips within the town area are £5.00.

Tenby is a lovely place with a few nice pubs and reastaurants/cafes - normal shops for that type of area - not actual banks but a couple of cash machines are about - Gets too busy in the summer but just before and just after are imo the best times to go - the beaches are lush and well kept - Don't drop litter etc as there are enforcement officers wondering about - even if by accident you will get a £150 fine :(

Lovely town on the Pembrokeshire coast.
Lovely town on the Pembrokeshire coast. So much to explore with some of the best beaches in the UK. Lots of cafes & restaurants, gift shops & independent suppliers, as well as some higher end chain stores. This wasn't my first visit & will not be my last.

Tenby is very clean and beautiful.
Tenby is very clean and beautiful. There is a large selections of cafe/restaurants to eat at (we found it easy to book a table on line)customer service so so friendly and accommodating and the food itself reasonable and delicious. The
Lots of fabulous independent shops to wander around as well as your little Tesco and Sainsburys etc. The Coach and Horses did probably the best Surf and Turf ive ever tasted and The Qube an excellent steak too,
Beaches - 3 main beaches; North, South and Castle Beach all beautiful and unique - a pleasure to visit -great to visit when the boats are running to Caldey Island etc,
Tenby is very accessible and easy to find your bearings and its just lovely walking along different alleyways and getting the beautiful view of the sea at the end,
Tenby an excellent base, we visited Saundersfoot on this occasion and on other stays have visited Narbeth, Oakwood Park and Folly Farm.
We have visited various events on NYE and have found a lot of the time quite nervewracking by amounts of people and not well organised - Tudor Square fireworks quite the opposite , well organised , family friendly and so much fun - 100% recommend,
My partner and I had a fantastic stay at The Broadmead Boutique B&B. With the pending arrival of our newborn we wanted a few days to rest and relax which the B&B provided. The hosts were so accommodating (extra duvets on the mattress for comfort) and all of the staff were attentive and friendly. Extra touches such as the homemade breakfast food and complimentary breakfast bucks-fizz (shame I couldn’t sample!) were wonderful. The B&B was spotlessly clean and decorated beautifully. A 4 min drive into Tenby was also perfect for us.
Great boutique hotel in a quiet location but with good access to Tenby.
Stayed in The Ofdice room which was lovely and comfortable with a large bathroom, double shower and roll-top bath.
Staff were superb and always able to provide recommendations on places to visit.
Food was fantastic and ended up eating in the restaurant every evening as it was so good and very convenient!
Hubby and I both had a massage in the spa, it was fantastic, relaxing and well worth it, just wish we'd booked earlier in the stay and had more than one!
Location was excellent. On seafront, short walk to town. Lovely sea view from outside of the hotel. We had a premier double room with view which was spacious and the bathroom was nice with a walk in shower, comfortable bed.The breakfast was included in the price and it was very nice. We ate dinner at the hotel on the first night and that was also very good. We would recommend this hotel for location, food and comfortable room
We were very impressed with all aspects of the hotel. The staff were very welcoming and very hard-working. The service in the restaurant was excellent and the evening meals of very good restaurant standard. The leisure spa was very good, opening early so that we could swim before breakfast. It was an easy walk into Tenby (uphill a little both down and up, but manageable) so no need to take the car.
Location was excellent as the apartment is situated in the middle of town with easy walking distance to shops, seafront and harbour.
Very pleased that the property came with parking.
The apartment was very quiet. Not sure if there was anyone else in the building as we didn't hear anyone.
The bedroom was dark, so good night's sleep.
Kitchen was well equipped.
We liked the lighting in the kitchen.
Great location, a lovely relaxed atmosphere and friendly, professional staff. Beautifully manicured gardens and wonderful views over Tenby Harbour. This hotel is our new favourite!
Everything is run extremely well and all areas are kept to a very high standard. We particularly loved the pool (open 8-8 in summer).
The restaurant offered plenty of choice for dinner and breakfast was fabulous.
Great location on the seafront, with a stunning sea view from our bedroom over the beach and across to Caldey island
Room was very comfortable
Breakfast was delcious - we enjoyed the seagull on our windsill who came to watch - but don't feed him !
Town is a short walk away to go for dinner etc. or walk round the harbour or on the beach
Tenby is one of the most lovely towns in Britain.
We liked the Wychwood House and the Penally location very much. The site was ideal for exploring Tenby and the Southwest coast of Wales. The hosts were wonderful people, personable and were efficient B&B managers. They were also full of helpful information on local sites of interest. The breakfasts were delicious and the house, garden and rooms were beautiful and clean.
In a perfect situation on the North cliff with magnificent views over Tenby. The hotel is stylish. clean, very comfortable bedrooms and public areas. Restaurant was very good, menu comprehensive for both dinner and breakfast. The staff are friendly and most helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Gardens are immaculate and a pleasure to relax in.
We enjoyed the Breakfast and the Dinner choices. All the meals were delicious. The service was very attentive to our needs. The restaurant tables were well spaced out, and the area is well lit with all the glass windows and the glass canopy over it. Very nice cosy Hotel and we thoroughly recommend it for a short break holiday.
Such a good stay, location of the guest house is perfect and it comes with parking which is needed in Tenby! The breakfast was lovely and the hosts are lovely, so attentive. We booked a twin room but were offered a small double the day before we arrived as somebody had cancelled which was fab.
Huw is an outstanding host. The location of the Townhouse is unbeatable. We enjoyed calm, clean, comfortable accommodation with wonderful breakfasts for the 3 days we were in Tenby.
Each morning featured a special in addition to the daily menu so there was always something different.
Beautiful cottage near Tenby with parking. 2 bedrooms, one with double bef and one with bunk beds. Would suit a family of 4 perfectly. The cottage itself is beautifully decorated, has everything you need.
We truly enjoyed our time in Tenby. Apartment is comfortable and well equipped with everything you need, including beach towels. The pool is nice to have just next door. Our family loved the place!
