Breakfast was exceptionally busy, but staff kept the food well stocked and tables cleared quickly.
The room was quiet, comfortable, and the bed was great too. Staff helpful.

Lovely hotel right in the City Centre. Gorgeous room, super comfy bed and very quiet at night which we really appreciated! Bathroom was incredible! Staff were all really friendly and helpful as well. Would definitely stay again.

It was close to the Cathedral which is why I booked it. I loved the history of the house and grand but homely feel of the place. The breakfast was delicious and I would recommend it especially with the added mushrooms. I had tofu, roast tomatoes, spinach and large field mushrooms on sourdough. You don't have to be a vegetarian to like this!!

The location by the river Exe was superb, especially on a warm sunny day. The menu was better than your normal pub grub albeit slightly limited. Very clean and comfortable.
