The location is perfect if you have a dog, there are woods on sight and a larger woods over the road. Room is very quiet, lovely and warm due to under floor heating with a lovely comfy bed.
There is also cutlery and plates which is really helpful if you fancy a take away.

The village is very quaint, chocolate box pretty.
The village is very quaint, chocolate box pretty. There are very few shops in the village, but Tunbridge and Hastings are nearby. The hotel decor is amazing, very quirky and imaginative. The bed was enormous and extremely comfortable. The evening meal was delicious. The only downside was the English breakfast, failing that would thoroughly recommend.

Peaceful location with pretty villages like Kilndown and Burwash - (The home of Rudyard Kipling)and ample to do over a long weekend, more time needed if golfing holiday, must visit pubs like Vineyard in Lamberhurst and The Bull Inn nearby. Ticehurst is a lovely little place, full of charm. It has 2 really excellent country inns: The Bell and The Bull (not to be confused). Ticehurst is a small Village with a few independent shops . We were using it as a base to visit family in Kent and the excellent Hever Castle , so didn't really explore the village fully . The destination was The Bell Inn .

Very comfortable, a lot more interesting than a hotel room. Very easy to get to Hastings - around 25 mins drive.
