Jo was an incredible host, the house was in a perfect location far away enough that it was quiet but close enough to town that it was an easy drive in. The room was lovely, really impressed by the cleanliness and the bed was like a cloud! We slept so well. The bathroom was clean and well stocked, the shower was easy to use and very clean. The house was very light, the garden was beautiful.
Jo was attentive, even remembering how we liked our tea/coffee and bringing us one in the morning. Haven’t felt so looked after in a long time. We had such a fabulous time, I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Already thinking to book for next year! Can’t recommend this place enough. Thanks for having us!

Staff so friendly and pub us so historic and beautifully placed. The room was very nicely furnished and even had a large bath and luxurious toiletries. Breakfast was great and parking (arrive early) was at the back of the pub.
Super dog-friendly and hearty breakfast. Hebden Bridge is delightful.
I was at Walsden, the next village, part of Todmorden.
I was at Walsden, the next village, part of Todmorden. If the weather had not been so bad I would have done some walking. The countryside is stunning. I stayed at Enchanting Haven which is stone's throw from Walsden Station.

Todmorden is a charming town that offers a unique and memorable experience. From its picturesque landscapes to its rich history, there's something for everyone to enjoy. The must-visit spot is the Todmorden Market, where you can find a variety of local produce, crafts, and delicious food. And if you're a nature lover, don't miss a visit to the tranquil Centre Vale Park, perfect for a leisurely stroll or a picnic. Todmorden truly captures the essence of a quaint English town and is definitely worth exploring!

Todmorden is a very pleasant, interesting, well located former mill town with a good variety of shops, pubs and eateries (we especially recommend “Eat”) great market (indoor and outdoor) and nice canalside. Don’t miss the Town hall which is an outstanding building with a superbly renovated main hall.
The town is also very well located for accessing the surrounding countryside and neighbouring towns of Hebden Bridge and Halifax.

Todmorden is a lovely chilled town with loads of interesting walks to do, everything from canals to hills. I recommend visitingTodmorden beach as a place to visit. There are lots of cafes and pubs to visit, check out the Golden Lion and their amazing thai food. Todmorden has a briliant train service and it is very easy to commute to Hebden Bridge or Manchester from here.

Lovely town in a beautiful setting.
Lovely town in a beautiful setting. You feel that you can reach out and touch the surrounding woods and moorland.
A real gothic feel about buildings and architecture. Canal and streams weave through the town.
Some quirky shops, bars/cafes, an alternative feel to the place, reminded me of parts of Bristol that I knew in the 80s.
The apartment is quiet and very comfortable. Good facilities in the unit. Good shower. Good storage but in the "main" room only. Most especially, good communication with the owner.
The location is a mile from Todmorden centre and slightly less to Morrissons which is en route. Buses pass by directly outside about every two hours Monday to Saturday for limited hours, but there is a more frequent service within a 10 - 15 minutes walk.
The cottage was so wonderful, we have already made a second booking. Our purpose was to visit family, and take advantage of all the walks, coffee shops and restaurants available between Todmorden and Hebden Bridge. The cottage itself could not be more comfortable and welcoming. Everything was spotlessly clean and very new, the beds comfortable, shower hot and powerful. The view across the valley to Stoodley Pike was quite amazing.
We had a wonderful stay in the Nobel Nook, everything we needed was provided and more, thank you for the lovely welcome box. It's very close to the supermarket for supplies and there's a pub two mins walk away. It was very easy to cook with plenty of room to prepare food and a microwave. Lots of nice storage to keep our coats and shoes neat. Location is excellent for Todmorden town and walking in the area.
The furnishings were extremely good and of good quality, although the decor was of a very individual taste.
There was plenty of storage space, even though bedrooms were quite small.
The property is close to the centre of Todmorden, allowing fairly easy access to restaurants and to public transport
Perfect location opposite the station, friendly staff, comfortable bed, very clean room and a great selection at the continental breakfast.
Todmorden itself was also excellent with a great number and variety of pubs and places to eat. An ideal location for rambling in the Pennines too.
This is the first Hotel in many years where the bed wasn't made and towels changed after the first nights stay.
The location is good but depending which room you are in you either get the local church clock or trains arriving/departing from the train station.
Well presented, ground floor apartment with very helpful and friendly host.
Location was great for walking along the Rochdale canal, up onto the moors or down to Todmorden.
We didn’t use the car after parking up on the nearby roadside for our 3 night stay.
It was a comfy room in a lovely home and was the perfect accommodation for my night in Walsden. Jo was a fabulous host and even gave me a lift to Todmorden and booked me a taxi home. Definitely recommend for solo travellers or couples.
A very convenient location for the Folk Festival weekend in Todmorden. Comfortable clean bedrooms. The house had everything we needed for our weekend break and it would have been lovely to stay longer.
Todmorden is not a big place so a walk to the outer reaches was no problem even with luggage.i loved the view from the bedroom window and having freshly laid eggs for breakfast.
Well situated in the heart of Todmorden.Good continental breakfast with an extensive choice of items to choose from.Large spacious rooms.A little dated but very clean.
