As the name says.. definitely a queen of B&B. The best property we have stayed in so far. A homey feeling with a touch of 5 star hotel room. The room was spotless and immaculate. A walking dressing and a big toilet. The property has a dining hall which can be used for takeaways. It was only 15mins walk from the high street with many options of nice dine in restaurants and take aways. Would definitely be returning and recommend to our friends and family.

Having been to Tredegar many as it is where my daughter and grandchildren live I know quite a lot of the local area. There are shopping facilities and walks and park’s within easy travelling distance which are great for the young and old. Nice places to eat and drink depending on your taste.

The apartment was comfortable, the countryside around Tredegar is spectacular with lots of walks and places to visit. The town is proud of its industrial past and local political hero, Aneurin Bevan. Although the town is a little run down, like many valleys towns, it is clearly working hard at regeneration and improvement. The people, in proper Welsh tradition, are genuine and friendly.

Tredegar town seems to be a typical Welsh town with lots of pubs and places to eat but was also not too busy which was a nice change for me.
The people I met were very friendly and as an outsider I was made to feel welcome and at no point did I feel unsafe.
I would look forward to going back to this town again.
Nice hotel in a historic building. Comfortable room with lots of character. Large bed, efficient heating (nights in Wales can be chilly!). Good breakfast. Nice staff, patient with our difficulties to understand the Welsh accent! We did not test the hotel's restaurant, but there is a cheap eatery just in front of the hotel and a few more in Tredegar. Tredegar is a good location to explore the Brecon Beacons. We booked the hotel at a discounted price, and for this price it was excellent value for money.
Great value for money, clean and tidy rooms with very friendly and helpful staff, would definitely recommend for simply needing a room to lodge away for work or travelling.
Staff are very friendly ensuring the customers needs are meet, regarding finding locations, local information etc, great TV in the rooms with very good Wi Fi connection, I will definitely be returning when Im in the area again.
Good hotel all round :-)
Fantastic hotel! A really welcome reception, staff were warm, friendly and very helpful (and fun to chat with!). The bedroom overlooked hotel roofs and the kitchen extractor fan, not so good but couldn't be helped. Bed really comfy.
Breakfast was amazing and would really recommend the eggs royale, perfectly cooked. As a base for exploring the Brecon Beacons or just for a one night stay, perfect!
Very nice 2 bedroom cottage tastefully furnished in cosy but modern cottage style.
Good kitchen facilities
ideally located for trips to nearby Brecon Beacons, Tredegar. Big Pit Coal museum and Iron /Steel museums at Blaenavon only 30 min drive
Local Tap House pub restaurant is excellent, walking distance
This is an amazing modern transformation of an historial hotel/pub in Tredegar. The rooms are first class, large with comfy beds and great bathrooms. The finish is top class throughout. Staff as you would expect in this part of the world are warm and friendly. Highly recommended.
Great self contained 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen and living room. Nice and clean and spacious. Entrance through a courtyard next to a pub. In the heart of Tredegar Town High Street with lots of shops, restaurants and take aways.
Hotel is fantastic value for money. Room was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable, as were all of the public areas that we saw.
Breakfast is excellent.
First time we've stayed at this hotel. Rooms are amazing. Staff all efficient & friendly. Main bonus was the massive breakfast - all cooked to perfection
