Tremarne Hotel, hotel in Tregoney

Tremarne Hotel is a stylish, award-winning property in a spectacular location just minutes from the Cornwall coast.

We loved our weekend away here, we wish it could have been longer. The hosts were fab and the hotel is in a lovely little area and a short drive from tourist spots. Would recommend getting dinner here at least one night on your stay, it was soo good, as was the breakfast.

The Rosevine, hotel in Tregoney

Around 25 minutes’ drive from Truro, The Rosevine is an elegantly styled apartment hotel on the south Cornwall coast.

Lovely gardens in the hotel to sit and relax. Staff were very helpful and courteous. Freshly made individual breakfast and really good croissants. We ate 2 out of 3 nights in the hotel and the food was very good. Sandy beach just a short stroll away down the hill. Porthscatho could be reached in a 10-15 minute walk along the coastal path (has an excellent ice cream shop which is worth the walk alone). Proximity to the coastal path means you can walk for miles if you want.

Tregoney is a perfect place to explore Cornwall with plenty of safe coves nearby perfect for swimming and lots of lovely walks. The Kings Arms in Tregoney was perfect for an evening meal, lovely atmosphere and good value for money food. The roads are good, of course there are narrow and steep roads but this is the nature of Cornwall.

Hosts where friendly, welcoming and informative, listened to their guests and helped them make the most of their visit, giving welcoming advice on where to go. The place felt homely, nothing was too much trouble, breakfast was fabulous, room was spotlessly clean and comfy with lovely finishing touches. Would stay again. Went to Hooked on the Rock in Falmouth a seafood restaurant great views and fab food a little pricey, but worth it for a treat, need to book as very popular.

Small village with a small supermarket and pub.lovely walk along River Fal. Short drive in either direction to beaches , Truro , St Austell and Mevigassey. Variety of restaurants in Truro including Thai( recommend Mai Thai), Spanish, Italian, Indian. Perfect little teashop in Mevigassey called Teacup. Experienced driver required to navigate the narrow winding country roads!
