The hotel was very clean. We loved the room, the bathroom.
The breakfast was included in the stay and they have varieties of food to enjoy.
The hotel is walkable to York's center. It takes about 13 mins to walk to York Minster.
For people who drove a car, The parking lot (Paid parking) is really close to the hotel but couldn't fit big vans.
The 4-star Principal York, formerly The Royal York Hotel, is set in quiet gardens, with views into the new Garden Room overlooking York Minster.

Location, both check in and breakfast staff and the room. Having stayed previously a few times, I knew what to expect and overall, I wasn't disappointed.
