I cannot ever remember giving a hotel a 10 rating.
This hotel however deserves it.
From the welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful staff, the spotlessly clean and fresh smelling rooms to the ample and good breakfast.
Restaurant and bar prices very reasonable and location perfect for the weary traveller.
This independent and individual hotel has a restaurant with 2 AA Rosettes and a large adult fitness club with spa. The rooms include complimentary membership to the Fairlawns Gym.

Lovely welcome at the reception and we were able to check in early as our room was ready. The hotel is welcoming and very clean. The rooms are comfortable and well presented with the addition of an iron which was very useful. Lovely shower. Nice smelling toiletries. The staff were all very friendly and exceptionally helpful. I cannot praise them enough. We were joining a large family party who were attending a funeral. This included several young children. Breakfast was particularly chaotic but the staff managed with efficiency and cheerfulness. I really can’t praise them enough.
Bright and stylish, this modern hotel is just minutes from junction 9 of the M6 and Bescot Stadium Railway Station, offering direct trains to Birmingham city centre with links to the NEC and airport.
Just a mile from Walsall town centre, The Beverley Hotel offers free parking, free Wi-Fi and an on-site restaurant, less than 10 minutes’ from Walsall Railway Station.

I would stay again especially the onsuit room so I don’t have to share
A superb area of The Black Country. Lots of great hotels and apartments to stay in, not too far from Birmingham, to reach by bus or train, to leave your car behind. Lots of great pubs, so no need to lower your standards by using a Weatherspoon's same with food, fantastic ethnic variety to choose from, so no need to lower your standards by using Mcdonald's or KFC.

Our visit was to Aldridge/ Walsall and sorry to say we won't be rushing back. Took daughter to stay at her partners, we booked Barons Court Hotel to have a meal, stay overnight and do something the following day in the area as we had stayed previously and enjoyed ourselves. Hotel review partly reflects how the facilities and area has changed for the worse. Hotel run down, rooms are a shadow of how they appear on the photos. Used the Horse and Jockey pub across road for a meal and drink. Meal okay then found out it was closing down in two weeks to become a Lidl. Looked at next pub to go to, drove down and found out it was a Co op. Nothing else to do so stayed in hotel TWO hours then left for home after dropping daughter off. Certainly no plans to revisit anytime soon.

Not a lot of independent choices when eating out.
Not a lot of independent choices when eating out. Just the usual chain eateries which make the place feel tacky. Ended up in TFI Fridays due to lack of good choices. It made do as I was only there to carry out a job but I wasn't bowled over by the place. Only good thing was a cool little Caribbean bar called Pimientos across from the station to grab a beer. It felt like entering someone's sitting room.

I found that all the staff were local and very knowledgeable about the area and had worked at the hotel for many years. I would recommend the hotel for conference meetings and a good place to hold wedding receptions. I also found the the food and accommodation exceptional for the price and have already recommended the hotel to other people. I will also be booking again in July when I will be visiting Walsall again.
The staff were EXTREMELY helpful at this hotel - our room wasn't set up properly upon arrival, and the staff very quickly resolved the issue (providing the bedding and making the sofa up into a bed as it was meant to be). Equally, the lady who helped us at breakfast was very very helpful, funny, and thoughtful. The cold breakfast options were excellent and varied - meats, cheeses, cereals, fruit, pastries, bread, all sorts of stuff.
The staff make this property! So polite and helpful. Genuinely lovely and a credit to the hotel. Some areas of the hotel are very tired. Yet some areas are very plush. Overall the place is very very clean. Not to keen on the smokers at the front door. That should be reviewed especially when arriving with children, not ideal to walk through plumes of smoke. All in all would recommend as good value for money and great location.
We stayed overnight 21/08 and would have been happy had it been longer. Very quiet and comfortable. Very clean. Far superior to nearby hotels. Check in and out super easy, excellent communication from staff. Would definitely recommend, and wouldn't even look any where else should we need to stay in the area again. Very well adapted studio apartments, tastefully and well thought out and planned.
I liked the idea of this hotel, it was old and simple, however it met my expectations.
The location is excellent in middle of wallsall, between Birmingham and Wolverhampton.
The room was spacious enough, there was a washing machine, kettle, microwave and a toaster. Beside the double bed, there's a sofa-bed.
There is a free parking here for the residents.
Wow!! What a great find. First class boutique hotel, rooms beautifully furnished to a very high standard, both comfortable and spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed ensured a good nights sleep. Easy access to Jct 10 M6, good parking facilities. Will definitely recommend to friends and will be returning in the near future.A most enjoyable stay.
On arrival, the reception staff were friendly, attentive and incredibly helpful, booking a taxi for our evening event.
An extra bed had been made up in our family room, which was unexpected and very welcome.
Fantastic pool and such a lovely relaxed atmosphere throughout the whole hotel.
I think some distinction needs to be made for where taxi drivers should put customers off..my Uber driver had me at the back of Parsons way. If you are new to the area some guidance should be given for safe drop off point and direction for property since it is off road.
The welcome is most welcoming at Fairlawns,I was delighted to be upgraded to a larger room. There is always a friendly positive atmosphere in the different areas of the hotel. I enjoy the fact that you can attend yoga/pilates etc.. as part of the room rate.
The breakfasts were excellent and the room very clean and comfortable. All the staff were very communicative, helpful and friendly. The hotel was in a very convenient situation close to the centre of Walsall with all shops and public transport nearby.
The staff are fantastic, they're really helpful, chatty and friendly. The breakfast was lovely. The hotel is old and quirky but the rooms were clean and cosy. I liked that it was 24 hour access, even though I didn't need it.
Great choice for breakfast, bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and very helpful. For a large hotel next to a busy road, there was no sound at all. We had a great sleep!
Too far from central Walsall buss every half hour but taxi each way when you go out approx 8 pounds it's not really n central position unless you have car. Fabulous host
Booked at the last minute and was the cheapest I could find, half the price of nearby Premier Inn. Plenty of Free parking onsite. Downstairs area is nicely decorated.
Nice apartment in a quiet area, secure. Shops were nearby. The host was very friendly and responsive. Would definitely love to visit again. Highly recommended!
I always stay at this hotel everytime I am in Birmingham for training camp. It has all the facilities I need and the staff always make me feel comfortable.
Excellent location. train station just across the road so easy to get into Birmingham. Free parking also available at the hotel. Helpful, friendly staff.
