Wow!
Great apartments in an amazing location.
Facilities in the apartments were brilliant, incredibly clean, and spacious.
Best accommodation we've stayed in for a long time, will certainly be booking again!
Situated in Warrington, the recently renovated The Old Post Office Warrington by Deuce Hotels features accommodation 14 km from Haydock Racecourse and 18 km from Tatton Park.
Didn't arrive till 8.30 at night and was tired. The staff in bar was very nice and as was landlord the following morning but unfortunately the stay at the kings head was a total nightmare. Room smelled foul and the twin bed mattresses was not fit to sleep on just fit for nearest skip as covered in bad urine stains. There was no spoons with cups and saucers for your hot drinks ,the shower was dangerous as scolding hot but unable to reduce temperature so had to rinse body of soap in sink. Television no signal was horrendous and because the room was so dirty my husband and myself never bothered with breakfast because it put us both off. The kings head is a waste of good money if you decide to stay there as it will only be a let down as reviews saying it's good is very untrue and very far off the mark. Anyone thinking of booking there even for one night do yourselves a favour and keep your money as you'd be better off in a one man tent

Warrington isn't a romantic town but our stay was just about getting away on my birthday from the Hustle and bustle of general life. Warrington centre from this hotel is within easy walk with plenty of history, drinking and eateries. Basic getaway for down time with my wife. Lovely weekend.

Great atmosphere, the hotel was lovely and quiet despite there being lots of other guests and a 24hr bar. There’s a free pool table in the bar and lots of comfy sofas. The room was super clean and there the shower was lovely and hot. Great hotel, we were there for a wedding and would stay there again.

A good location if you don't want the busy-ness of Manchester or Liverpool but with those cities within easy train distance. A short train ride to Chester also. Halliwell Jones Stadium is the main draw. The Barley Mow in the Market Square is a great little pub with excellent pub grub.

All good except the TV wasn't functioning properly, so therefore didn't have that use during my stay. The receptionist blamed the weather as his also was providing fuzzy lined screen. In the adjacent cafe's all screens were working. I suggest the engineerneeds to fine tune the settings. I
think I was in room 8, down the corridor on left side.Other that not having TV to unwind after travelling , everything else was very good. Local eating facilities excellent, within the precinct.

We were only there for one night and breakfast the next morning but seems like a nice town, it has a good carvery there called Toby's with great meal deals, we had an excellent buffet breakfast! 😊
All round excellent hotel, I met Zach and he was lovely and very fast with communication before our arrival and check in with any questions that I had. The hotel room itself was fabulous and really clean and sleek. Nice, neutral, interior design. I would highly recommend. It is very close to either of the train stations in Warrington. We stayed because of a festival. The hotel price was much cheaper than other places and much much nicer. I would definitely stay here again.
EVERYTHING WAS GOOD, STAFF MEMBERS WERE VERY RESPECTFUL, KIND AND AMIABLE. FOOD WAS VERY GOOD, LOCATION WAS EXCELLENT, COMFY ROOMS, AC WORKING EXCELLENTLY WELL. BEDS WELL WELL MADE AND COMFY. I HAVE USED MANY HOTELS, AS MY JOB MAKES ME DO REGULARLY. FOR SOME, YOU PAY A LOT AND GET SO LITTLE. BUT, FOR HOLIDAY INN WARRINGTON, THE STORY WAS DIFFERENT. YOU GET SUPERB VALUE FOR MONEY. I AM GOING BACK THRERE AGAIN AND AGIN AND AGAIN.
original bed room not good.
Broken door knob on chest of drawers leaving sharp screw exposed at ankle level.
No maintenance on site due to bank holiday so changed room to higher grade ✅
on arrival at hotel 12 noon our first impression was the receptionist wasn’t welcoming or even polite.
we just said we wanted to check in but she just kept saying we couldn’t check in until 3pm even though we explained that our only wish was
Couldn’t believe how big the room was for the price, exceptional value. The free WiFi was a great touch and actually worked, I’ve paid for worse WiFi in other hotels! Staff were great and the air conditioning was a live saver in that horrible heat. In many ways I was sad to move out into my new flat here in Warrington after my move up from Southend.
Great welcome. Tight parking area but we parked ok. We were showed how to get in after hours. Good security on doors. Hotel a bit old fashioned as you would expect Breakfast good. Very good value for money. Location good for where we needed to go but don’t know how far the town centre would be.
The hotel itself was great, the staff were really helpful and friendly and the room itself was comfy but basic. It was in a quiet location with free parking to the rear, the pub next door served a cheap but amazing breakfast and the staff again were really polite and friendly.
The staff when we arrived were pleasant and welcoming and when we asked about parking said it was included (which was a bonus). They sold basic things like water behind the bar and the room was clean and pretty much what you would expect for a cheap hotel to sleep the night.
Comfortable room well presented. Outstanding customer service from hosts. Very quiet house even with a young child there. Good location just outside of Warrington town. I would book again
Pub: food great; breakfast & dinner prices were both reasonable. Staff very friendly & helpful.
Hotel: modern exterior and plenty of well-lit car parking. Generally clean & good size room.
Everything was great, I usually travel for work in Warrington and the Royal Hotel is my go to. I have tried others but cannot beat you guys. Will return on a regular basis for sure.
New hotel impressed with the decor, comfort and staff, very helpful friendly and attentive would definitely stay again when in the area. and would reccommend.
