Do try and stay Saturday and Sunday if you can, the castle and its grounds will easily take up most of the day and you cannot visit without seeing the rest of Warwick town. All accessible walking so you can park up the car and relax in a beautiful town with so much to offer

Nice place.
Nice place. Unfortunately I was there for just a night and a day spent in the Castle. We ate at the only place open at 7 pm, a pub in the main square, quite expensive, I took a beef meat dish, quite good but with too many potatoes and poor in vegetables, as per description. My friend took a sea bass dish and she liked it. The town seems quite modern, I expected an old little town..
Next day the Castle. This is quite interesting even if with too many reconstructions and restorations. The external location is beautiful and has interesting points to be seen, as the towers. They made many types of attractions in order to engage visitors. The interiors show many rooms of recent periods, enriched by wax figures in period clothing.
All quite expensive in my opinion. I think a family spends too much if you include everything, from accommodation to entrance and parking tickets, also because they also charge children aged 2 and over.
In any case I enjoyed my little trip.. Except the weather! But I'm Italian and so I.m a little spoiled on many subjects.. :)

Did Warwick castle the day we arrived ( as gaining entry to accomodation wasn't 'til 15:00 ). Excellent VFM. Paid extra for the Dungeons.
Bit of a walk from the car park ( altho' courtesy bus available ) .
Easily spend the full day exploring/watching free shows .
Would try to avoid peak times- w/e's- and school hols if you are not taking children.
Good base. We spent a day exploring Stratford ( if you do that make sure you visit the Butterfly Farm-it's epic!! ).
Warwick centre is good for pubs/ restaurants etc- lots of choice but a lot close during the week so choice then is very limited.

I enjoyed my visit to the castle, though hadn't realised it was half term, so was somewhat busier than I expected. Many steps to climb, but the views are worth it. There's a working trebuchet, which was demonstrated, and an excellent flight display of birds of prey. St Mary's church is worth a visit too, as has a stunning chapel dedicated to the Beauchamp family. I'd recommend the Thomas Oaken tea rooms near the castle Town Gate and Aqua Food & Mood Lebanese restaurant.

Warwick is a small charming town easy to move around.
Warwick is a small charming town easy to move around. Very pretty historical and clean streets with enough shops if someone is into it.
The Warwick Castle is the main attraction but there’s is more to see than that.
The hotel location could not have been more convenient for Warwick town centre, bars and restaurants.
The staff, especially the newly-drafted-in manager, could not have been more friendly or courteous.
The cooked breakfast was excellent, albeit there was no buffet but table service only.
Despite not having any parking facilities at the hotel (though there is a drop off zone), the public parking just across the road was very convenient and reasonable at £6 per 24 hours.
The facilities of the hotel were excellent, our room for 4 was very spacious and the sofa bed for my boys was an excellent size, the room was clean and the staff were very helpful. we quite enjoyed the swimming pool, the spa, the 2 separate pools for the kids and all the space outside. the location is excellent, only 10mns drive from the Warwick town centre.
Very reasonably priced B&B in a great location, walking distance to Warwick town centre. Lovely owner and family. Great breakfast and large private car park at the rear, which is rare in a town centre hotel. Room was spacious and functionally furnished. Excellent bathroom with modern suite and bags of hot water. Would definitely stay again.
The hotel satisfied all my expectations. I found it clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was acceptable but not exceptional. The hotel was walking distance to the Town Center and Warwick Castle.
All in all I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay there again.
Many thanks.
Proximity to walk to Warwick Castle was great.
Quiet & comfortable. Nice fluffy large towels and comfy beds/bedding. Modern bathroom.
Very friendly staff and excellent breakfast included. The room had everything we needed. Wish we had arrived a little earlier to enjoy a drink down in the bar.
The staff was extremely kind to us.
the location of the hotel close to the historic city center is very good. There are plenty of restaurants and pubs close to the hotel (5min walk).
We saw even a peacock in the back yard of the hotel :)
Central location in Warwick. The hotel is split into two buildings: we stayed in the building in front of the pub. Very quiet. The pub (were you have breakfast) is very nice and the staff very friendly. Also very good breakfast.
We liked that you had a good choice of food on a Sunday night.
And that the room had a fan ,as it was a very day at Warwick.
The hotel was very clean ,and had a nice seating area outside
.My wife and I had a very pleasant stay .
Bruna and Marko (son) were very welcoming and friendly proprietors. The hotel facilities were very nice and I enjoyed my stay. I would certainly recommend to anyone visiting Warwick and the surrounding area.
The hotel would have been really convenient for my stay in Warwick, to visit both Warwick and Stratford. I'm sure it would have been clean and tidy. Access would have been easy given it's location.
The room was cosy and the location is fantastic. This is the experience of lodging in a pub in rural Britain. Highly recommended. If you want to lodge in Warwick, this is the place.
The Warwick Arms hotel is located on the high street just a short walk to Warwick Castle. Lounge area to sit in and relax with a drink from the bar. Friendly staff. Good location
