We went to Watford purely for a family visit as this is where we used to live. It was great to go back and revisit some of our old favourite places and acted as a good base for us to travel out to other surrounding locations. I would however not recommend for a holiday destination as the main town centre has very few shops etc or much to see.
Great location for train line into London etc.

Watford is a great location from which you can access London. There are lots of different restaurants, shops and activities easily accessed in the centre of town. We found Watford was a great base to stay as it provided superb access to the Warner Bros Studios and the Harry Potter tour.

I visited Watford for work.
I visited Watford for work. The apartment was centrally located and it was easy to walk everywhere. Good mix of coffee, food and bar options within a couple of minutes walk, some chains and some independent. Easy parking.
Livin' Serviced Apartments is just a few minutes walk from the Watford Junction Station and if you are going to Harry Potter Studio you arrive at the station just where the bus waits to bring you there.
The apartment is very spacious and equipped with all you need for a long stay or if you want to save on cost and cook yourself.
Sainsbury big supermarket is 10 minutes walk away opposite side to the station.
It's in the same building as the Holiday inn so you can always ask staff there for help.
Peter is an amazing owner, tells you what you need to know to move with the public service. it’s not a 5 stars hotel, but it’s comfy , warm and tidy. very good breakfast, you have to manage by yourself, but there are lots of choices. close enough to the underground either you can catch a Uber to watford junction for 6$ or by walk within 20 min. The room was big enough , with all the necessary in. very good stay.
Room was clean, bed was comfortable, shower was good. Breakfast was very rich with many options. Many Thanks to hotel staff for providing cold drinks and lollies at the lobby. We would like to especially thank Mr. Jamie (Food & Beverage assistant) for his smiley face, for the small chat and for his hospitality. If we are ever in town we will definitely choose to stay again.
Excellent location, lovely hotel very clean, excellent amenities and lovely friendly helpful staff.
Hotel was perfect location a 5 minute walk to Watford junction and every restaurant and fast food place you can imagine. We went to the Harry Potter studios and the hotel was the perfect location to stay as the shuttle bus runs from Watford junction.

The en-suite shower was super handy!
Location is smack on the centre of Watford and it’s 15 mins away from Watford Junction Train Station. Everything is supplied by the owner. Food wise, if you do not fancy cooking plenty of options outside. Shopping center is 2 mins away.
Location was brilliant for going to Harry Potter. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel. We had 2 rooms that were next to each other and we could close off the outer door to the corridor. So great when listening out for sleeping baby.
Great apartment for a brief stay in Watford. Our host was very accommodating and met us on arrival to let us check in a bit earlier than expected. Apartment was clean and quiet and walking distance to market, restaurants, etc.
The hotel was in a convenient location, very easy checking in & out. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and catered to our needs. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice. Carpark was really close and a good price too.
A clean hotel, easily accessible with good parking. A great location, walking distance to Watford Junction and easy access to London. On the whole, good value for money, friendly staff and a pleasant room.
