The breakfast was great and the person who served us was very friendly and welcoming.
The location was perfect as we were performing at a school down the road all day and meant that we had a very relaxed start to a very busy Friday.

Everybody was very friendly, Dave the Landlord got in my Dads car in the carpark a couple of streets away to show us the way to his pub carpark! How kind & helpful!
The pub is quirky & full of old artefacts.
Great beers & gin!
Food was very nice, we were all eating different diets eg; vegan, vegetarian etc & they catered for all 4 of us perfectly!
Beds were so comfy my Mum is looking for a new softer mattress at home now as she hasn't slept that well in years! 😃
Shower was perfect!
The garden is large & beautiful too.
Near the Devon/ Somerset border, the Victorian country house Greenham Hall lies within 25 minutes’ drive of Taunton and Exmoor National Park.

Everything! The Greenham Hall is an exceptional place with many unique features. Our Host , Caro, was very welcoming and kind, made us feel home from the very first moment, she was helpful, inspiring, told us a lot of the history of this beautiful castle and served us a delicious breakfast with a range of options. The castle has a huge, stunning garden and an astonishing view. We fell in love with the place and are already planning to come back again. Thank you so much, would definitely recommend for anyone😊

Stayed in the Martlet Room. Very comfy bed and great shower. Lovely coffee too with fresh milk in the fridge. Smart TV was a great bonus. Breakfast first class. Great pub

The owner was friendly on arrival and keen to give us all of the relevant information we needed for our stay.
The restaurant was lovely as was the food. The chef was very friendly and helpful in assisting us with gluten free options and alternatives for dinner and breakfast.
Unfortunately we wouldn't come back to stay. The upstairs is very old and dated. It needs a good clean and updating. The wallpaper is hanging off under the window in the room we stayed in. The carpets are old and trodden in, the en-suite wasn't finished with wood work missing and a leaking shower. The laminate was peeling off the shower walls.
The whole upstairs also smelled like old cigarettes where it has previously been smoked in.

Friendly welcome eventhough we arrived late by mistake.
Friendly welcome eventhough we arrived late by mistake. En-suite room perfectly clean. Tea & Coffee in bedroom. Well ventilated. Very effective blackout blind. Bed and pillows just right for me but duvet a bit hot on a very hot night.
Excellent value for money. Thank you.

The whole stay was pleasantly surprising.
The whole stay was pleasantly surprising. We booked last minute and found this little gem. Really lovely hosts who can not do enough for you and a great point to start your adventures in this part of the world. I did not come across a negative the whole stay. We ate there every night. Sheppy cider is just along the road and Taunton is just 5 miles away.

Nice place to stay for a few days, supermarkets, Asda, Waitrose, cooperative, boots, and Superdrug. Various little local shops, few nice pubs, including Weatherspoons, which had amazing toilets and excellent disabled toilets. The Pub is a new little bar, owned by Corrine who goes the extra mile introducing you to her wines etc. Very obliging staff. Plenty of takeaways. Parking is a bit of a problem as you can only stay for 30 mins or 1 hour so recommended parking in the local council car park which is £2.70 for 24 hours.

The town of Wellington was just as expected - public houses and charity shops. Quite busy, good high street - didn't eat there. Had a couple of drinks in the Vintage public house which I'd stayed in many years ago when on a golfing holiday. The golf course was my favourite place!

Room large and comfortable, food plentiful and delicious,...
Room large and comfortable, food plentiful and delicious, host/staff welcoming and friendly. Good beer! Shower pressure/temperature consistent.
Downside, loo seat uncomfortably loose, only one (half-used) loo roll, bedroom door latches noisy.
Overall, fine.
The staff members are dedicated to ensuring your needs are met promptly and efficiently. From check-in to check-out, you can rely on the professionalism and expertise of Vintage staff and owner , who strive to create a personalized and welcoming environment. It was home away from home. It was like visiting family. I would recommend vintage to anyone who wants to have a good time while away from home. If you are in Wellington Somerset at Vintage you get both a good time and sleep.
The room was beautifully presented and very clean. We received a very warm welcome and really appreciated the little touches, like water bottles and homemade cake, after a long journey. It is in a nice, quiet location, but only a few minutes drive away from the shops and restaurants in the town of Wellington. We stayed here as a stopover on a journey to Cornwall, and would highly recommend it to others doing the same.
Easily accessible from the M5 motorway, not far from Wellington and which has a good range of shops.
The newly refitted Studio gives the opportunity to self cater and has full sized appliances. The owners have taken care to supply all the equipment you might need. The Studio I had was accessed by an outside staircase which was good for coming and going any time.
The B&B is inside a traditional pub filled with welcoming staff and warmhearted customers. Typical English breakfast with hot teas. Secure private car park just in its back yard. Central location in the small town of Wellington, but not so noisy at all. I even got a chance to refill my car at a price of 144p/L - what a bargain at this high inflation era!
The property was by far the best we have stayed in. Quality furnishings and beautifully open plan and fully equipped. The 'fake' fire looked real. There was a Christmas tree and decorations. It was an ideal base for meeting up with an ill relation in Wellington. Vic, our host, was easily on hand when we needed him.
Everything you want from a room comfortable bed quiet and roomy with good clean shower and bathroom right in the centre of Wellington (parking at rear of pub) with cooked breakfast served in pub bar with really friendly landlord
Downside slightly quirky furniture in room, on the second floor up 2 flights of stairs
Conveniently located in the center of Wellington, the hotel was accessible and easy to find. The staff (family owners) went out of their way to welcome me and took my heavy bags straight out of my hands. The building was interesting, modern - rustic and carefully designed with a home away from home ambiance.
The hotel was very clean and tidy. Great location within walking distance from city centre. Staff were very lovely and helpful. After long drive we enjoyed a relaxing atmosphere in the spa facilities. Would book again next time we are this area
Allan & Allison were excellent hosts ,we needed for nothing, , very quiet location, only 10 minutes from junction 26 (wellington)of the M5,
The full Brit breakfast was worth every penny ,really nice.
Highly recommended

This B & B is situated close to Wellington village, which has all the amenities of a town.
Although we only had an overnight stay, we were well looked after.
The rooms were spotless and the breakfast was enough to last us the entire day
We are mature cyclists journeying from Barnstaple to Bristol. We stayed at four hotels..the Green Dragon one of the least expensive.
This is obviously a popular local pub. There was a happy, lively atmosphere and food was “pub grub.”
The owners of the Blue Mantle are lovely. They were friendly and fun to talk with about the area. The breakfast was the best we have had so far in Britain. The rooms are decorated superbly. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
Very friendly and helpful management staff, room was clean and comfortable at affordable prices for a solo traveler. Definitely would return and use this hotel as a base of operations wonderful experience.
I like the history, the ambience, the friendly family reception.
I'd like to stay a month there !
So much to do in the area and Wellington is a good example of the west country towns.
