The location is perfect as it's very close to the town centre, staff were lovely and the dining room and bar, although we didn't use it looked very inviting.

The purpose of the trip was an overnight stop for a racing weekend at Brands Hatch. I'm pleased I chose a non chain hotel, the personal touch was appreciated. Impressive church and grounds, would be interested to visit the NIAB and nearby villages.
As the 'only pub in the village' (I might be wrong there) it appears to be a central hub, there was a good atmosphere with good food too. Few shops although supermarkets/takeaways within a short drive

It is a beautiful village with wonderful atmosphere and plenty of interesting shops and restaurants and pubs. The farmers market was one of the best I have ever seen and we didn’t have enough time to fully explore the immediate area, but we will definitely be returning in the future.

Only stayed one night at Amaro and didn't get a chance to explore. We were there for a charity event being held in The Swan pub which was a gorgeous pub. We had a kebab from the shop in the high street and that's about all we got to do! What we do know is parking is free in the Ryarsh Lane car park from 3pm on Friday all through the weekend... that was a gem for non-locals!
