We ate in the restaurant and the food was amazing, comparing very well to Michelin star establishments we have been to. There was a whole Art Deco feel, down to the period alarm clock and radio in the room (along with the LCD TV). The whole experience was so much more than we expected.

My first stay in a quiet B and B in years and it was truly excellent. The owners, Kim and Tina were so welcoming and friendly ensuring my study was very pleasant indeed.
Breakfast was excellent,cooked to perfection. The room was clean and bright with fabulous views over the countryside and castle ruins.

The location for us was great, fairly remote but with shops, pubs etc. not too far away. We also went for a local walk at the Marches Mosses which was lovely along the canals and through the peat bog. The property was really homely and had everything that we needed for a pleasant stay. For such a tiny place it really had a lot going for it. The decorations were really nicely done and made us feel at home.
