I don’t really know what to write here, nothing I could say would do the place justice to be honest. Immaculately clean, everything you could possibly need is on hand and the location is superb. Even with a total washout of a summer, we were able to have a great holiday because of the location (very close to plenty to do) and because the house was just so well thought out and beautifully presented that you absolutely didn’t mind staying in, it was perfect. The outside space is wonderful too, just wish we had more opportunity to make use of it!

A lovely little self contained property slightly set back from the owner’s property. We were able to park very close on a provided parking space. Private decking area with plenty of seating and a sea view. Can see all the way to Saunton. Beds are comfy, both bedrooms are large and have their own window. All amenities were clean and new, shower was hot and spacious. The attention to detail of the things included within the property were amazing, even had a high chair and nappies in the utility cupboard. Very impressed throughout.
The Waterfront Inn is situated in the centre of Westward Ho. The bed and breakfast has a sun terrace and views of the sea, and guests can enjoy a drink at the bar.

Lots of facilities and some other things to do even if the weather wasn’t great. Lots of options for food and drink. We went go karting and played crazy golf while the weather wasn’t so good. We are at the pier house restaurant view and the food were lovely. Service wasn’t so good. It easy to get around and find places. My youngest has a wheelchair and it was easy to navigate around with the chair.

The beach is truly excellent.
The beach is truly excellent. Lots of friendly help to get going surfing - good schools or the surf shop in town gives good advice and there is always YouTube!
Although there are a few restaurants it is not a nightlife type of place. Would not be a draw for single sex groups looking to party! On the other hand, if you like surf, swimming and walking it is excellent. Access to the beach is tricky if you are at all unsteady on your feet. Research carefully if this might be you. There are two ramp accesses but the rest of the beach is protected by a natural pebble ridge. Easier in shoes with a bit of grip. Once on the beach, it is hard to beat and so large it is never overcrowded. Dog friendly at one end. Sand; perfect for building castles/getting in your sandwiches etc

Everything you need in on the doorstep, if you didn’t want to do much travelling you could easily stay in the town itself and have a lovely time. People are friendly and the sunsets at the beach are beautiful.
I booked last minute and from start finish the experience was superb. Sue kept in touch via text and was really accommodating. Sue's husband showed us around and gave us some local hints of where to visit; what a lovely person! The accommodation was warm, welcoming and spotless; more of a home from home than just somewhere to stay. Dog and child friendly. Value for money, coming in slightly cheaper than equivalent hotel's for the same amount of people; I'm glad I took the decision to go local, worth every penny!
The property was spotlessly clean. The room had a kettle with tea/coffee and a mini fridge for fresh milk.
I loved the location- within easy reach of Westward Ho! town, down a steep path at the side of the property.
The area around the property is in a quiet neighbourhood away from the noise of Westward Ho!
It is in close proximity to the SW coast path and Hartland Point/ Brownsham/ Clovelly are also a short drive away.
Shown to our 'garden' room on arrival. Property is beautifully decorated and has a very relaxing ambiance. Exceptionally clean. A complimentary well stocked supply of tea/biscuits etc. We paid extra for breakfast, which was reasonably priced and lovely. Hosts were very friendly. Location is great for the beach and shops at Westward Ho! Would definitely stay again.
Lovely holiday park that is well maintained and clean. Our gold villa was newly upgraded and spotlessly clean with amazing views. Located right by the North Devon coastal path and overlooking Westward Ho bay which is a short walk straight into the town along the promenade. Quiet and peaceful location. Nice restaurant and bar area. Would stay again.
Excellent location across from the beach, our room had a view of the ocean. Nicely furnished and decorated and clean. Modern bathroom with a shower stall. Nice pub on the ground floor with a good menu and a carving station on Thursdays and Sundays. Plenty of free parking in a secured lot behind the hotel.
The stay at the hotel was exceptional, with the close location to the beach, the comfortable bed and the great facilities on site, we were made sure to be well treated on and made sure that we had the best stay.
We have already booked to come down again next year
Nicely furnished one bedroom apartment, comfortable bed and excellent shower, so good in fact was the shower, we are thinking of buying the same one for our home! A short walk into Westward Ho! With all it's facilities
If you are looking for a nice quiet stay, Then i would avoid this hotel at all cost. The walls are paper thin, We had to leave at midnight and sleep in the car, Due to excessive noise from the room next door
Lovely welcome, nice greeting, great room. Vert clean and tidy. We had a lovely carvery for dinner. Was a great place to stay for a golf trip to Royal North Devon, would definitely recommend.
Well positioned hotel, with staff who went out of their way to ensure I was safe despite me having to cope with osteoarthritis in my knees and walking with a Rollator.
